The interesting thing is Argentina is highly, equally skilled in both ball sports

    Soccer and Basketball

I did say that solely because I am a Messi supporter and not a Dirk or German team hater.

Just to be clear. Gauchos are pretty good at that and better than Brazilians in many ball related sports. (maybe except Volleyball, Brazil is very good)

Badstuber out for 3-4 months with torn femoral muscle, unbelievable! Seems his body isn't made for professional sports, such a shame that he has to go through all this again and again.

This really sucks. I feel really bad for him. I hope he fully recovers and comes back strong.

He was like never injured before that torn ACL versus Dortmund. Guess that one ruined it. Not a lot of hope left now. What a shame.

Plus, I just don't wanna see Dante starting in the big games coming up.

Will be interesting to see if we buy another central back. We need a solid guy behind Boateng and Benatia, Dante doesn't cut it and Badstuber is injured all the time. If Pep keeps his 3-man defense up we need a new defender anyways.

Let's see how Martinez comes back. He can also play there (not sure about his speed, especially after all the injuries). Holger will be back at full strength early next season. We won't get anyone for the remainder of this season anyway.

    Cl semis are in:

    Barca vs Bayern
    Juve vs Real

Tough draw for Bayern, hope everyone will be healthy in time. 50:50 chance to advance, imo.

I want Martínez back as a 6, he needs to be in the midfield and destroy everyone. He was the ultimate defensive midfielder during the Heynckes era, especially in the games vs Barca. Martínez would also be the perfect successor to Schweini and Xabi, so the earlier he embraces that position the better.

Or we go back to the 4 man defense with Alaba and Lahm, as I don't see how Pep can bench two or three out of Alaba, Lahm Schweini, Xabi, Martínez or Thiago once everyone is healthy and wants to play in midfield.

Agreed, would prefer that as well.

    Maybe for the Barca matches:

    ......Lewandowksi....Müller..........
    Ribery............................Robben
    .......Schweinsteiger...Thiago........
    Alaba...Benatia...Boateng....Lahm
    ......................Neuer..................

    Next players from the bench:

Götze, Xabi, Rafinha, Martinez, Bernat, Dante, Rode, Pizzarro

When everyone is healthy, we are pretty stacked...we would have two world champions (including the guy that decided the last world cup final) coming from the bench...

So pumped. Hopefully Messi re-discovers his GOAT form. Barca-Bayern is the Finals right there.

Barca will win. Bayern's best players are past their prime. Barca's best players are still in it.
