    Exactly man. The only time I'd do is against a guy like Dorsey. Even 40%+ shooters like Jordan it's questionable, especially since they can get into rhythm at the line.

    This isn't a good example. Hacking works if you get the freaking rebound.

    No, it's terrible and is less exciting then just manning up and playing D. You shouldn't get a competitive advantage for breaking the rules and that's what this is.

    Easy fix would be to change the bonus rules to give the team a choice when it comes to non-shooting fouls: either shoot the free throws or get the ball on the side. Some teams might still shoot the free throws, even with bad free throw shooters, but it would stop the hacking and that's better for the sport.

    Griffin has come a long way in his game but he still looks wild and unorthodox a lot of the time on offense.

    Probably they are really getting old and those old guys cannot memorize new strategies....

    As a Rockets fan, I feel guilty how much I like and respect Duncan. He is amazing.

    Duncan isn't even using his offhand to guide the ball anymore. He's just throwing the ball at the basket, and it's going in lol

    Matt Barnes just threw a huge brick at someone. He should be put in jail.

    You can hate the Spurs but you have to respect that organization top to the bottom. I want San Antonio in round 2.

    Totally rooting for a 7 game series here...and hope they basically destroy each other...and then hoping to get a wounded team. Of course...presuming that the Rockets take care of business vs their own wounded opponent...

    Many in this thread are arguing Pop messed up by hacking and lost the game. You want to kill all intentional fouls? How do you feel about not allowing the last 24 seconds to turn into a ft contest? Those games are hella boring.

    Nobody is breaking the rules. Its tactical and a gamble to hack a player in hopes that they miss. A close game where each of those missed free throws is infuriating to the fan but joyful to the ones wanting him to miss. I don't agree that it's "less entertaining" I just find it more annoying than regular basketball. But the tactic is smart to utilize in certain situations where the numbers work in your favor. Honestly, I think it's perfect for basketball.

    :grin::grin: Double bladed sword

    Who knows what kind of new and upcoming PF talent they could have had by now if it were not for Duncan
