Honestly this is better for the Mavs, Barrea has been taking it strong. They will most likely use Aminu a lot more on Harden who is lengthy.

Lamar Odom was also literally a crackhead during his time in Dallas.

Yep. Carlisle is out-coaching himself. Leave one man on Harden and hope he has a few off-games. Double-teaming him just leaves a Rocket open somewhere, and the Mavs aren't good enough defensively to properly execute several help rotations in a single play.

Well there goes the Mavericks trying to resign him as a max player. Reports are also saying he wanted to sign as a max player on the Lakers... All I know is we're increasing our chances of winning quite significantly.

I predict that James will see a good dose of Aminu. He came in and actually made some big defensive stops.

If the Mavs traded away depth and a future 1st round pick only to see Rondo walk as a free agent AND the Lakers get stuck having to pay a declining Rondo a max salary for years to come, that is absolutely win/win for us.

I actually don't like this, since Devin Harris is actually a much better fit for their offense. I only hope that- with Aminu playing Harden- somebody else will be left poorly guarded and can get hot.

He went 5-14. I'll take that.

This is actually bad news for us believe it or not. Rondo was essentially our 3rd star this series. Our mole.

Ironically, this would also be my strategy if/when the Rockets go up against an elite PG like Paul or Parker.

Let them get theirs, but don't attempt to shut them down at the detriment to them getting others involved... unless you're a super-elite helping defensive team that can rotate to everybody.

    DD,

The problem with letting Harden get 40 is he is also capable getting you 8 assists and 8 rebounds too.

Aminu is an excellent player. Really like his game.

The Mavs could've won game 2 if Rondo didn't quit last night. This makes them more dangerous.

LMAO! Have a friend that was arguing with me about the series saying that the reason Dallas would win is because Rondo is a superstar.

I told him that if he actually watched any basketball he would understand that Rondo is having a pretty bad year and has been playing scrubbish since coming to Dallas.

rondo didnt even really play last night. how does this make dallas more dangerous when they lost without him and won't have him in the future. that doesn't make any sense.
