I'm convinced what I'm doing doesn't matter anymore...I was sure it did before. But last night I watched the game with my older son in the playroom instead of in the living room. And we still won. So we got this, fellas.

That sounds like the most painful handjob ever.

Whatever tradition I did apparently didn't work since Hakeem retired.

Now I leave it all to Lin to do his magic.

Well then, they better be playing the weekend of 5/1 (MadMax bday celebration?!?)!

Wish I could. Dave2000 had a couple saved for me, but I have an inescapable meeting at 3 Friday afternoon.

See previous post to Buck. If you're around that weekend, let me know. We will be getting the fight, I think. All depending on the Rockets schedule.

I've decided to not consume pork or alcohol. It'll be tough, but I will be strong my brothers!

Playoff tradition is for the Finals you young 'uns. Here is what I will do every day we have a game in the Finals, just like I have done since Dream's time:

every morning I will walk out into my driveway, pick up the basketball, go to the driveway equivalent of the top of the key and fire a shot off. No warm up, no mulligan, no practice shots. Just pick up the ball and shoot. If it goes in, we will win the game later that night. If I miss, a win is not a certainty.

I might need to go shoot more between now and the Finals since I'm now old, fat, and likely to sprain something if I have to heave it from deep with cold muscles, but hey, I'm willing to sacrifice for the team.
