What type of tradition are you engaging for the Rockets Playoff run?

    I know a lot of people are growing playoff beards. Since I already have a killer beard Ive decided to wear Rockets gear everyday until either a) The Rockets win the championship or b) get knocked out of the playoffs.

    Since the Rockets won on the last day of the season abd secured the 2 seed, I have successfully worn Rockets gear everyday. Even at work were we have gotten brand new company shirts during this all.

    Anyone else doing or growing something for the playoffs? Im curious if there is any outside the box traditions going on.

    I've just been drinking a lot of gin. But the playoffs are my current excuse to do it. Once the Rockets win it all, or God forbid lose, I'll dedicate my drinking to the remeberance of this great season.

    This time I'm going to refrain from going to a watch party. I have nothing to back it up but it seems the rockets win a game and then I'm pumped I want to go hang out with the fans at a watch party. Watch party seems to always end in a loss :(.

    I took a bunch of shots and slept through the 2nd half. Maybe I should continue this tradition.

    I went to my first ever home playoff games last year (1 and 2) and we lost both. I didn't go to game 5 and we won. This year, I didn't go to games 1 and 2 and we won both.

    The evidence is overwhelming: when I go to home playoff games, we lose. So my tradition starting this year is to not go to any home playoff games - unless we lose a home playoff games while I'm not in attendance. At that point, I will allow myself to buy a ticket because the curse might be broken.
