So he played 66 regular season games and 1 playoff game. His FG% dropped (again), his minutes dropped and he left his team out in the cold for the playoffs.

    Brilliant signing Cuban.

I think Aminu / Jefferson / combo will be more effective than Parsons even if he was healthy.

For the playoffs, we would have had no Bosh, no Parsons, no Brewer, no Smoove, and I could be forgetting some others.

Morey lucks out again. First the Gasol trade. Now this. Amazing.

I know since the Gasol trade was nullified due to basketball reasons Rockets wouldn't have gotten Harden, but if the trade went through, I don't think It would have been that bad. Gasol and Nenè would have been a pretty good front court, with peak Chuck coming off the bench.

Everytime this trade is referenced, it's as if Stern saved Morey from himself.

It would not have been that bad, yes, but compared to the alternative of Harden, it would have been quite bad.

Jefferson & Aminu better than Parsons even if healthy?

....I don't know, but they certainly are cheaper.

At least he got his money before getting injured.

Good point, just in terms of his career. *If* we'd kept him at our bargain price and he got this knee injury, that would have been awful for his career earnings.

I never wished him ill, injury wise, so it's kind of sad.

As a Rockets fan, I don't want him to have knee surgery, but I'm happy they are missing some key players just like we are.

I'm blown away by the fact that no one is picking up that they brought him back too soon. Dallas completely screwed this up. He should have not been cleared after just testing the knee in one practice.
