How did you get through 82 games? The fear you have must have been paralyzing.

 

40 pt game 7 loss burned me...0.9 seconds ruined me...i live in constant fear

 

I hope Parsons makes a full recovery

Man, one of the craziest things last year, game 6. I'm in my apartment in Austin with 2-3 friends watching. That game was epic as hell. Dwight hitting some clutch Fts. Some friends in Houston were getting ready to buy game 7 tickets. I was going to drive down that Saturday too. Saved up money and all.

Parsons hits that layup. All of my other friends are running around, screaming, jumping. I look down and see the time. I keep telling them to calm down and that it's too much time. For some reason, I feel the weight of the world on my shoulders. I had the weirdest premonition that that was just too much time, and it happened.

I was supposed to go out for my friend's 21st (mainly Dallas fans), but my body was shaking. I just couldn't move. I slept early and woke up, and just couldn't believe it. I thought it was a dream. Everything felt so surreal. That was a terrible end to my senior year.

Nothing is acceptable. I don't believe in curses, but the **** that happens in Houston sports is something that would be Pulitzer worthy.

I just hope the Bearded One can turn it all around for us.

 

Two of my brothers (who don't follow basketball) actually came into my room as I was watching Game 6 on League Pass right before the Parsons bail out layup.

I let out a huge scream of 'yessssss' and one of my brothers got really into the atmosphere (albeit he was there for literally 30 seconds)

Fast forward to that fateful shot... I sat there in stunned silence for an eternity.

My brothers slowly walked out the door quietly after a while.

It was awkward. It wasn't a good time.

 

Lmao man same **** happened to me. All the Mavs fans around me starting screaming and cheering when lillard hit that shot. I can't wait to sweep those ***

 

To bad parsons vaginal pain flared up..would have loved to beat him on the court..

Man, you need to let it go.

We can all agree that what happened last year was horrific and still causes some hurt in the hearts of Rockets fans alike, but it's in the past. This is a new year and a new, more experienced, team.

Since that play, Harden has "evolved" into a bonafide superstar and an all around great leader, Howard has (for the most part) accepted his role as a defensive beast and PnR guy, we added championship leadership in the form of Ariza and Terry, McHale has improved as a coach and our bench and role players are some of the best in the NBA. This is a different team than the team that walked off the court in Game 6 last year.

Enjoy the ride! Stop worrying about what may or may not happen.

I'm not saying we should proclaim Houston as the next championship but don't let the past effect your perception of this team in the present.

Seriously, enjoy the game.

This game is an absolute must win with Parsons and Harris sitting.

 

People always dog Stephan curry for looking like a little boy myself included however look at Rondo. Dude looks like a little kid!

I haven't been this laid-back optimistic about a game in a longtime. I'm not sure if we win, but I just keep thinking "We won't be down 0-2" ...It's such a blissful feeling.

 

One win and you're laid back? Have you been a Rockets fan long?
