The pellies have given a good account of themselves in both games now and have little to show for it. Shame

Exactly. Not sure if it was designed that way or AD just not understanding the significance of a hard pick, but they didn't run a AD pick/roll the entire second half.

He wasn't the best player this year either individually. Curry and Harden were the leading MVP candidates though.

But Westbrook and Davis were the 2 best players in the league.

Harden deserves it just as much as Curry does. In my opinion, Harden deserves it more. It's not a moot issue at all. I don't know why people trying to act objective about the MVP debate try to imply that Curry is the only deserving candidate. He's not. The fans know it. The media knows it. The players know it. How is this "beating a dead horse"?

Need Bev back so Ariza can guard Klay. Rockets starting 5 would matchup well as long as Jones doesn't get intimidated by Green. Howard can't let Bogut play mind games and get in foul trouble. Warriors bench is scary as Speights, Iguodola, and Barbosa are tough matchups for the Rockets, but Smith and Brewer are tough for them as well. If Splash bros are shooting well, hack Iguodola and Bogut to shake their rhythm. Rockets would need to shoot like they did the other night and can definitely win.

Media would make a lot of 0-4 record during season, but we last played them 3 months ago right after Josh was signed so those games are meaningless at this point.

Excited to see the jump AD will make next year.

it's quite amusing all of the fellatio Curry gets from the media when he has one of the deepest teams in the league...if not THE deepest. How can a guy be considered the most valuable when his team didn't even need him to score at all in the 4th quarter of a playoff game? Hell Golden State's bench actually did well enough for the most part.

    Dwight > Bogut
    Green > TJ/Smith
    Ariza > Barnes
    Harden > Thompson
    Curry > JET

I run Harden, Ariza and Brewer together quite a bit with Ariza on Curry.

To beat the Warriors at Oracle, you basically have to play a perfect game. You have to make 15+ 3's. You have to play great defense. You have to rely on Curry/Klay/Draymond to miss their 3's. It's very hard to see them losing 4 out of 7 times.

Without Bev, I don't see a way that we can adequately guard Curry AND Klay. Basically, you'll have to put Ariza on Klay, and hope that Terry isn't too old to run through screens all night and never lose sight of Curry.

People wasting time debating this issue. There is no wrong or right. Both of them deserve it.

I can see why Curry will get the MVP since his the best player in the best team of the whole league. GSW was on a tear this year.

But then I would not be suprised if Harden gets it over Curry since Harden carried the injury riddled Rockets.

Two valuable players with 2 different backdrops. Either one should get it.

That's a good idea to start Brewer, but then we lose his energy off the bench. I'm also not sure Brewer can't stay with Klay over the entire game. Bev's injury hurt us... big time if we ever get to this matchup.

For one thing Mike Conley and Tony Allen are great defensive guards. I'd love Memphis' chances since they can matchup at every position with GSW.

Personally, media wise or did someone wrote an article about Westbrook and Davis being the best two players in the East.

I think Curry, Harden were the best with the best records. Lebron third.

You can argue for Davis behind Lebron.

Westbrook needs to learn how to fit in better within a team concept and lead the Thunder without Durant to the playoffs.

Yup. Only way they won't win the Finals is if the bright lights overwhelm them as they get deeper in the playoffs, which can happen.

This is a historically good team. They are stacked.

You pretty much have to start Brewer in the backcourt with Harden and have Harden on Barnes while Brewer guards Curry and Ariza checks Thompson. You wouldn't lose too much offense by replacing Terry with Brewer.

Terry is much better at spacing the floor for Harden and Dwight. Brewer's terrible 3 point shooting puts a damper on the starting squad. He's FAR more effective coming off the bench, but you're right. There's no alternative to guarding the splash brothers.
