Pelicans self destructed this quarter. They're good enough to win one at home. That's about it.

Damn, the Pelis surrounded AD with a bunch of good players and cannot win one Playoff game?

    Tough West

Pin the tail on Eric Gordon. Misses a wide open 3, gives up an and-1 followed by a TO leading to a Bogut dunk.

Pelicans just ran out of steam, can't fault the effort, maybe if Holiday was playing they might have pulled it out.

Now AD knows what Dream felt like in the late 80's.

The Pelicans have done a decent job defensively on everyone not the Splash Brothers. But too much Thomson.

That said... What is the blueprint for defending GS as best you can?

I'll be interested to see how Memohis defends them... Except I don't think Memohis is amazing defensively... physical, big inside and play a slow pace. Definitely really good defensively but can they scheme an effective d against the Warriors?

If the Rockets were able to get to the WCF and played the Warriors... What is the defensive game plan?

I can see Memphis beating gsw because of their physical defense. Nop is proving they are beatable and how to do it. They just lack the talent outside of ad. That and inexperience and running out of gas.

    Round 2 will be interesting

Inexperience. Davis 2 years from now will probably can win a couple of playoff games by himself. Give him time.

He's going to be the best player in the league without question in 2 years. Maybe even next year.

Memphis can slow GSW. But their lack of offense makes it hard for them to beat the Warriors.

So you think James Harden is so easy to surpass?

Davis needs to set better / harder picks. Most of the time, the player he's trying to pick off gets around his screen too easily.

Harden is a boss, but if I was starting a team, I'd taken AD over anyone in the league hands down. Not in 2 years, but right now.

Harden didn't have any buckets either in the 4th of game 1. He got 6 points off of FTs when the game was decided.

It's a team game. The hate on Curry is too strong.
