    it wasn't gametracker.

Does it not sound like Brown is annoyed by him much of the time? What I'd give to have Deshaies or even Dierker back.

no joke man...what did he not understand about the fact that he was looking at that at an asinine angle??? he thought it "dented" the foul pole like 30 feet up. the correct angle showed that it didn't even reach the pole, and crossed it at its base.

He was just not giving up on that HR, that was so obviously foul. He really isn't very insightful, nor is he very entertaining. I'm particularly sick of his diatribes about hitting the cut off man.

Blum isn't spectacular, but he's much better than Ashby.

Wish JD would have stayed. He was at least competent and mildly entertaining.

He was a lot more than mildly entertaining. He was one of the best.

JD and Murph, we had it so good there for a while. :(

between all the rockets and stros tv guys, i'd rank brown at the top by default. not even a fan per se, but he does his job fine, and is knowledgable enough about the game. contrast him with his rockets counterpart bill worrell, who has been watching basketball for his entire 30 year career, and still doesn't understand the game.

i'd go: brown, blum, huge gap, still ashby, worrell, bullard, clyde.

brown and blum tick over the average mark, where all the rest of those guys start at a 4 out of 10.

and yeah, JD was a 10.

Yeah, he's grating. Not entertaining at all.

You can do a lot with a strong pen...just ask KC

We are hanging in even with terrible hitting

There will be some streaks where we hit well and win 8 of 10, 15 of 20

If when we don't hit we still go .500, we got a shot

Great series win. The pitching will be fine I'm just hoping the bats wake up. If that happens then the Stros have a great shot at one of the wildcard spots.

Chris Carter isn't hitting like he was after the ASG last year.

I just don't think he's fit for color commentating. He's a play-by-play man first, a radio man first. Simply out of his element.
