Shots fired!!!! Sadly there may be some truth to this. I don't trust McHale to make in game adjustments.
in b4 Ariza 50 pt game, Brewer 100 pt game, Smith 100-100 from 3, Jones quad double, and Howard 40pts, 40 reb, 40 blocks, 40 ast, 40 goal tends R.I.P in peace Mavericks
Yeah the 2nd seed in the west behind only the team with the 5th best record in NBA history, is not a very good team. Genius.
but he's calling the playoffs a different animal compared to the regular season. IMO, until McHale, Harden and Howard can prove it in the playoffs, i'm afraid some of this is true. How will we counter what Carlisle cooks up?
We were so predictable that his coaches couldn't stop us 3 out of 4 games this year....3 of which didn't have Dwight on the floor. Predicting what we do isn't the key to winning. Stopping us is.
I was waiting for Parsons to say something stupid to give this team more motivation than they already have... Apparently Cuban beat him to the punch.
Parsons has said this is bigger than him against the Rockets but I mean come on deep down inside he wants to beat us personally. Hope that doesnt happen.
Are you saying that all of the Rockets coaching staff are idiots? How did they win 56 games with the 3rd most amount of time in the NBA of missing injured players? Obviously they can make adjustments and have guys prepared. I don't believe for a second that an older team like Dallas can come close to matching Houston's energy and fast paced style I'd hardly call the Rockets one-dimensional either. It's not like Harden is the only guy that can score. If that's Dallas' game plan to just double/triple Harden. Terry and Ariza will burn them on 3's and Howard, Jones, etc will have a field day on the offensive glass/easy dunks on lobs
Bolded by the OP to make it say something it isn't really saying. Everything he says is true and he is giving an immense amount of respect to the Rockets' ability to execute what really is a very one-dimensional game plan. The Rockets are going to rely on Harden to create, either by getting himself shots or getting to the rim, then they are going to either have him finish at the basket or kick out for open 3s. 3s and layups, that's it. The problem for other teams (like Cuban pointed out), is that the Rockets have been very good at doing just that all year long.
I mean, this is about what Robin Lopez said last year minus the "not a good team part" Dont know where he is going with that We'll see come Saturday if this team is ready tho
