Looks like a travel to me, took three or four steps before jumping, he's still considered the ball handler and can't take more than two.
Not a travel. Never killed his dribble. You can not travel while dribbling. Same concept as losing the ball and getting it back.
traveling/double dribble. picked up the ball to bounce it to himself. that isn't a regular dribble on the bounce.
Not enough video to prove that, I believe. For all we know he had just received a pass right before the video starts.
He starts his dribble with one big legal bounce and then catches it, in the air, taking no steps on the floor after gathering the ball post-dribble. Totally legal, though unusual. Watch a fast guy on a fast break and think how many steps he takes during just one dribble. Fun play in any case.
You're allowed two steps after you pick up your dribble. His dribble hasn't stopped until he grabs the ball in the air on the alley-oop. When your dribble is alive, you can take as many steps as you want.
He never killed his dribble. Dbl is stopping and restarting dribble. Traveling is improper movement without dribbling. Even the high dribble is legal as long as the hand is on top of the ball, ball is not palmed, or movement of the ball is not stopped.
Actually, there is no rule against a high dribble, although refs in ms, sub varsity, and varsity games call it all the time. As long as hand stays on top of ball, there is no violation.
I don't see what is so difficult about that. Anyone who can dunk a basketball can do that. All that is required is some situational awareness and the correct situation. None of what he did is physically difficult for anyone who can dunk a basketball.
