Bill Reiter's MVP Ballot (he has an official vote):

    1. Steph Curry
    2. James Harden
    3. Lebron
    4. Anthony Davis
    5. Chris Paul

Donnie Marshall(doesn't have a vote) picked James Harden.

No, it used to be player vote. Moses won it on player vote I believe. And Kareem/Wilt/Russell all won a ton on player vote. I didn't watch the NBA back during that time, but I don't recall reading about any uproars (of course no social media back then either) regarding player votes being biased or getting it wrong.

Cause Curry never had 1 single bad game this entire season. Carried his team to victory every time

You know the real reason why Rocket fans been clamoring Harden for MVP? It's because they know they gonna get dropped in the first round. So they want for at least Harden to receive individual success since this team ain't legit.

Harden truly deserves this year's MVP.

I hope that Hakeem has a talk with Harden and gives him a history lesson about when D-Rob was receiving the MVP over him, then proceeded to DESTROY him en route to a title.

Some people here think Harden lost his MVP because of his performance against the Spurs. Not true at all. The fact of the matter is even if he played great against San Antonio, the MVP would still have gone to Curry. As much as I think Harden deserves MVP and continue to make arguments supporting his case, it's just too unorthodox for the establishment to not give the award to the guy whose team has won 67 games and just broke the NBA record for most three-pointers made in a season. Sure, Golden State is one hell of a stacked team and I actually think Curry is getting more credit than he actually contributed for, but the media doesn't care about that anyway and it's very rare incidence where a lone superstar carrying his team on his back to the top 2 or 3 seed of the conference gets the MVP award over the "best player on the best team". I think Steve Nash was one of those cases, but that narrative rarely works out in the end. So, yeah Harden should get the MVP in my eyes, but realistically the chance of that happening has been minuscule ever since Golden State became the top dog in the league and I hope Harden himself does not pay too much attention to this and focus his entire energy on proving his real worth in the playoffs - aka show the world who the real MVP is.

I'm betting Curry will get it, with all the hype he's been getting. But honestly, I think Lebron is the most deserving.

After he left Miami they no longer make the playoffs and the Cavs instantly make it?

So far I have heard about 60% media picking curry and 40 picking Harden. I think us getting the second seed in the west might sway some of them.

Irving needed just a little more help.

With LeBron he got a HUGE AMOUNT of help.

Irving and Lebron should share MVP's if Lebron were to get it. Just like Curry and Klay should if Curry gets it.

    Just my opinion.

Only somewhat related: Why does the "scoring title" go to PPG and not total points scored?
