Bravo! Lets not misconstrue what occurred this season. Give credit where it was properly deserved. We all know Morey is the one pulling the strings on a puppet as Sasori is to the kazekage. We all know James Harden put up an MVP performance this season, he is the one playing most minutes night in and night out. We made it this far in spite of McHale not because of him.
How about ****ing no? A coach leads a team to the wins we had, in the West, considering our injuries??? Geez, you guys are really something. If he fails in the playoffs, fine. But, Jesus, you can't give him any props? Of course not, b/c those that don't are full of A-grade horse****. You think Popovich is leading this squad to 67 wins? B/C that's the only thing that would've surpassed Golden State. Exactly how many wins would we have gotten had Pop or Carlisle been our coach?? I'd be real curious to see your answer to that.
It's not my credibility- those are comments from Spurs fans, not me. Doesn't matter- fans always do this- they ripped on Rudy and on JVG, and on Adelman, so it doesn't surprise me in the least bit.
We'd probably have 60 wins with Pop, but with Harden playing closer to 32 minutes, our starters more rested, and bench given more development and burn.
So, you expect us to get past the Spurs (or the Clippers) in the 2nd round or else McHale is not a real coach?
He did a better job than previous years and with all the injuries he never once panicked, gave everybody a shot to make the rotation, tried a lot of things and boy did it work! No more than 2 losses in a row, that's crazy. Winning the division when all 5 make the playoffs, that's crazy. We look like a great group of guys and when you can get the best out of Josh Smith, you are doing something right. All hail McHale
The last time we won a division title, Rudy T. was our coach. Jeff Van Gundy never did it. Rick Adelman never did it. Only done three other times in franchise history. For that alone, Mchale deserves some respect.
This is Teen Wolf, as illustrated by stupid Spurs fans. Teen Wolf would post something like this. <img src="https://scontent-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfa1/t31.0-8/10531361_10205408291540293_6298758405334245017_o.jpg" width=800> and another Teen Wolf post And then a really stupid dis of Tony Parker And Tony Parker is currently winning that poll by double
Yes, but what if he would have made those substitutions and they led to us having 1 or 2 more losses? Then we're in the 6th seed.
What happens with a coach is similar to what happens with Presidents. If someone goes in hating Obama, or Bush, then if the country does well, it's in spite of that person, and if something goes wrong, it's completely their fault. I've learned that many people have a very illogical view of the President as well as head coaches of teams.
I know- in the West- we had the 3 most lost games due to injury in the NBA this year, as well- how can you not give him props? Just don't understand the irrational hatred.
Are you guys seriously arguing right now??? Time to put the guns and pitchforks down, that's regular season ****. We won the South West Division. We are in Second Place IN THE WEST. Thank You Houston Rockets and that includes Kevin Mchale. Who cares who the MVP is. Who cares how many times ESPN talks about the Rockets. **** RANDOM INJURIES, **** TNT, **** ESPN, **** THAT ED GUY FROM MSNBC FOR REPORTING ON STEPH CURRY'S 77 MADE 3'S IN PRACTICE ALL DAY, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY FELLAS, **** THE MAVS. Today we are all brothers. So focus your anger the softest team in the NBA. The NBA lady Mavericks.
