James ought to feast against their backcourt defense. Josh can play as good of D as you can expect on Dirk with his length and hops. So we've got a leg up on them from the start IMO. That said, I don't think Tyson Chandler is a good matchup for Dwight, so I hope he doesn't try to do too much on offense in this series. Just needs to focus on his defense and rebounding and only play in the post when he's got a mouse in the house.
some good story lines here: 1) Mavs picked as an early "favorite" by the press at the beginning of the year 2) Cuban vs. Morey 3) the Return of Chandler Parsons (does .9 still haunt him?) 4) Jason Terry gets ready to jet in a return to Dallas, where he won a championship 5) Dallas VS Houston--an age old rivalry 7) Dirk is still there from the hated 2005 playoff series that was thrown by refs what other story lines are there???
No Predictions from me.. Rockets went in last year thinking they were guaranteed a first round win.. Rockets need to be f*&king focused!! Just focus on winning the first game in the series!
We will probably struggle on the road, Aminu probably will go off one of those home games and cause us to lose.
Not gonna be easy, Carlisle is amazing coach, but their injury issues with Parsons, Rondo struggles and low chemistry level are certainly helpful for the Rockets. If Harden plays like he usually plays in postseason, we may face problems, but I don't see him making that kind of mistakes anymore, so advancing in very tight 5 or 6 games is GO AND DO IT
yea i think you got all of them, though the cuban vs morey would be furthered by a rondo vs smith/brewer
I say we win it in 5. We win the first two at home. They win the first at their house by maybe 3 points. We beat them by more than 10 in the 4th game at their house. We come home and close them out with a double digit win again!! Show me the second round baby!
