Too much optimism. We need some balance not to anger the basketball god. Rudy Gobert is going to have a 20/20 game and the Jazz is going to run us out of our own gym. Jazz win and our season ends as a Greek tragedy.
It would be justified. There is no excuse to lose this game, especially if Hayward is out. And I don't wanna hear any crap about the Jazz being 19-9 since the All-Star Break. You know who else has that record since then? The Houston Rockets. And most of that has been without Dwight who'll be in uniform tonight.
If we play like we did against the Pelicans and Hornets, we're going to get blown out! The offense was good against the Pellies, but against the Hornets we were horrible on both ends. Harden got bailed out a lot and Josh Smith just jacked up long range shot after long range shot.
are you a spokesperson for the team? Did the team understand what was at stake on friday when they played the spurs? Understanding is one thing, and executing is another thing. So far this year, they haven't executed very well.
If the Rockets can't take care of business at home against a team that has nothing to play for, we are not getting past the 1st round.
Well, if we loses tonight, these guys ought to be grounded in the playoffs. So may not necessarily be a bad thing. Jazz's length always bothered us.
True. But usually if you come out and control the game from the opening tip, they won't put up much of a fight. It's when you treat a win like a foregone conclusion and don't play hard that you give the other team hope(see the loss in Orlando a couple months ago). The Rockets cannot play tonight like they did against the Pelicans by slacking off til late in the 3rd quarter or they'll get burned.
I hate the Jazz. I really do. But David Locke is one of the finest in the business:

Watching the Rockets. The Rockets are favored by 12 points. The Spurs by 5.5. Pacers by 2 points, on the road. The Rockets are extremely likely to have home court advantage. If they don't, that's a gigantic upset.
Let's be rowdy tonight... but until then... lets be careful what we say... we need the Basketball Gods to help us tonight... That is all...
