    Also, yes the Wizards are a disappointment. Randy Whitman should have been canned some time ago. And some folks want to complain about our FO...sheesh

    The Clippers can (effectively) lock up the 5th seed with a loss tonight, correct?

    If Houston and San Antonio win tomorrow night, probably the most likely scenario out of any combination of Houston and San Antonio results, then regardless of what Memphis does, a loss tonight by the Clips means they'll play a hobbled Portland team who lost 4 solid perimeter players.

    They could also tempt fate and win tonight, hope for losses by Spurs and Houston and thus jump to the 2nd seed, but with all the injuries occurring lately, it's possible they rest their main guys heavy minutes tonight.

    I am fascinated by this game right now. I think this might be the first time I've ever been thoroughly miserable watching two teams play a back and forth overtime game.

    So the Pacers are playing for the 8th spot?

    Has there even been an instance where the 1-8 match up is against the same two teams but with seeding switched in consecutive years? Last year it was 1. Pacers vs. 8 Hawks and this year it could be 1. Hawks vs. 8. Pacers.

    It sad upsetting that Randy Wittman doesn't have Paul Pierce taking all the clutch shots. Probably always makes them.
