It took 82, but the field is finally set. Ottawa is back in the playoffs thanks to their frantic 2nd-half charge. Nice to see Calgary and Winnipeg back in the playoffs too. If the Jets beat Anaheim, a Canadian team is guaranteed a spot in the Western Conference Final. Games will be televised on NBC, NBC Sports, CNBC, USA, or the NHL Network. Pittsburgh Penguins vs. New York Rangers -> Rangers. Washington Capitals vs. New York Islanders-> Washington Minnesota Wild vs. St. Louis Blues -> St Louis Nashville Predators vs. Chicago Blackhawks -> Hawks. with or without Kane Anaheim Ducks vs. Winnipeg Jets -> Ducks Calgary Flames vs. Vancouver Canucks ->Canucks
Looking forward to Sens/Habs and Blues/Wild the most out of the first round series. As for my picks I like the Wild over the Ducks in the west and the Canadians over the Rangers in the east with the Canadians beating the Wild in the Cup and Price getting the Conn Smyth.
There is no subway connection to Long Island. However, the Islanders will be moving to Brooklyn next season.
Hockey playoffs is probably the hardest to predict due to having a hot goaltender to beat a great team in a 7 game series.
Being born in the North West corner of Indiana and also part Native American. Yes, I would say that I am a huge Blackhawks fan.
