Correa will be up after the Super Two next year. It will be a Kris Bryant type situation which I am completely fine with.
Bryant will be called up next month, not after super 2. If correa continues this torrid pace, I don't see him staying down past next may either.

No stupid questions at all. He is a BIG shortstop. He has the frame to grow into an ARod (natural ARod) kind of player. Everyone says he can stay at short for a long time, eventually he could slide over to 3B as he ages. If he was a stiff in the field or had skillets for hands everyone would be talking him down and b.s'ing about moving him to the OF. He is a legit, if not gold-glove then damn close, level SS. All that doubles/gap power he has now will increase as he matures, kid's only 20.
Preston Tucker just turned in the first multi-homer game in the organization this season. He's got 2 2-run homers for Fresno. They're leading Salt Lake 7-4 in the 8th.
Tucker and Singleton are killing the ball to start the season at Fresno. By most accounts Tucker is pretty damn bad defensively so he would seem to be log jammed behind Gattis, Carter and Singleton at the moment. It sure does look like he can hit though.
Singleton has already shown that he can hit minor league pitching. What he hasn't shown is the ability to hit major league pitching. Since Astro mgmt guaranteed him TEN MILLION DOLLARS I'm sure he'll have multiple opportunities to try and right the ship. Only time will tell if he can do so....
What he barely showed last year in AAA was that he was good for almost a strikeout a game. If he can show better contact in AAA, I will take it as a positive sign. Is there any site that shows what kind of pitches that he hits in the minors? I searched and had no luck. If he is roping fastballs and still whiffing at an alarming rate at junk, then I would hope he stays down for a while. His inability to make good contact is what killed him, not his inability to hit. His .198 BAbip against righties last year is bound to come up, but it also seemed like he was hitting little dinkers when he did.
but I have to say the left side of the infield is looking pretty good between Valbuena and Lowrie...maybe Lowrie can DH or play 1B and we can trade Carter for some pitching talent... I think Lowrie--if he stays healthy--is going to surprise this season--seems ready to have a big year. He makes good contact and plays great at MMP.
#1 is 2-2 with an RBI single for Corpus. Also:

Bandits CF Derek Fisher smashes his 3rd HR in as many games to RF Top 7!
