Hopefully Harden will win it, great for his resume. If he doesn't, Westbrook would have won it on a technicality/loophole so it doesn't really matter.

Harden had 41 on 22 shots. WB had 40 on 29 shots. This is the difference between da Real MVP and some blackhole with a ridiculously high usage rate LOL.

Westbrook doesn't care about making the playoffs, he wants the scoring title.I watched their game vs pacers yesterday and this dude was looking for his shots. Taking shots when his teammates were open most of the times 54 on 43 attempts.

    If Harden wins it, great.

It's about the team first, and the playoffs.

Harden had a bad series against Portland last year in the playoffs AND he played like crap in the two recent games against the Spurs that were HUGE as well.

Screw scoring titles and MVP. I know he's pretty much carried us this yr, but he can't play like crap in the biggest games of the year (and upcoming playoffs).

It looks like Westbrook is going to win it. With a 0.5 pt deficity in the average, Harden is going have to outscore Westbrook by ~40 points in the final game to get his average higher. Both teams are playing chump opponents so either could feed their stars to try to get the scoring title. But, both teams are also in must-win situations (especially OKC) that should prevent them from trying anything suboptimal for winning. So, I expect both players to end up with something between 30 and 50 points, and Westbrook taking the title. Then Curry will win the MVP, leaving only the championship trophy as a consolation prize for Harden.
