I guess, go Suns. A Clippers loss would open the door for the Rockets finishing 3rd and getting Memphis in Round 1 in case the Spurs beat the Pelicans. I suppose it would be better facing San Antonio in Round 2 sans homecourt rather than the Warriors.

    GO CLIPPERS

We do not want the 3 seed! Either the 2 seed or 5 seed. Dallas or Portland.

Believe it or not, I want LAC to win today.

That would allow us to control our own destiny. So long as we take care of Utah tomorrow, we would be guaranteed to play either Portland or Dallas.

If Clippers lose, do we have a chance we face them in the 1st round?

    Go Pacers!!

Yes i believe so, unless memphis loses tomorrow night. That would put the clippers at the 5, while we're up to 3.
Just to be safe, the Clips need to win tonight

Very slim but yes. If LAC lose, Rockets lose, and Grizzlies win, then LAC would be #3 and Rockets would be #6.

The Rockets control their destiny already when it comes to homecourt. The Clips losing opens up the 3rd seed as a possibility and homecourt in the second round in case of an upset. It's more likely the Mavs can upset the Spurs than the Thunder or Pelicans upsetting the Warriors. So the Clippers losing isn't bad for the Rockets.

If Clippers lose today, there's a good chance Rockets will face Grizzlies in round 1, even if we beat Jazz. I would rather see Rockets play Portland or Mavs with HCA, which would be 100% guaranteed so long as LAC loses today and Rockets win tomorrow.

I meant to say so long as LAC wins today and Rockets win tomorrow.
