So we may have the 3rd best record in team history and end up being the 6th seed. This is crazy.

Great season and a great time to be a Rockets fan. Long live the Beard! Sucks that injuries kept us from 60.

Great regular season....the most enjoyable one I've seen since the team moved here.

With all the injuries, just a tremendous job by the entire coaching staff.

Let's get one more and head into the first round with confidence!!

Winning 56 games would be a huge accomplishment given the injuries they've dealt with. Maybe if they stay healthy and add a PG next season, they could finally hit 60.

Its always kind of surprised me that we've never had a 60 win season.

The Rockets are very good at having winning seasons. Just not high percentage winning seasons. They could've won 60 in 1994 but rested guys against the Mavs and Nuggets.

Seems like the only thing left from that list is to lose in the NBA Finals?

The situations with Brewer and Smith make me nervous. They've both been huge for this team. But otherwise I am excited about our future! I don't want to talk too much about expectations for next season before our current season is over, but Donatas Motiejunas, Terrence Jones and Clint Capela give me great hope. All of those guys probably haven't reached their ceiling yet. I think there is a fair chance one of them is moved though. TJ and D-Mo have big pay days looming in the not so distant future. I could definitely still see the Pelicans pick and one of those guys getting packaged for a point guard.

Llull and Gentille are also interesting. Or maybe we keep the pick? I'd be interested in seeing how that plays out too.

Hope the Rockets go really deep into the playoffs, but this off-season is going to be huge for this organization and I'm really curious to see how it plays out.

EDIT: Sorry if I went too off topic. I know we should really just be celebrating the incredible run we've had this year. But I think we all see some pretty easy opportunities for improvement and it's hard for me to not get excited about that.

We are one point guard away from being ...
People have been saying great player like Jordan didn't need a real PG,
But you have seen Harden can be taken out of the game.
We need a good PG to set things up. Wish Pablo was 10 year younger.

    Man.

I was hoping for Harden MVP, scoring leader, Rockets second seed, Pelicans miss playoffs = lottery pick

But it could possibly end up being Curry MVP, Westbrook scoring leader, Rockets 6th or 5th seed, Pelicans make playoffs our picks drops to 19th.

That's depressing. With that said though, Nuggets are up by 5 on the clippers at the half, Grizz likely to take a L tonight, OKC just got a W against the Blazers, and the Pels vs Spurs game might mean we either move up or get lottery pick.

    Hoping for the best!

Pippen was a pretty solid 2nd option, if Houston had an elite small forward, that would fill the secondary playmaker role, it doesn't have to be a pg, there's just a hell of a lot more of them

Rockets' history isn't great in the record department.

Franchise has faired pretty decent in Finals appearances though.

Not even in 86 or 09? Oh man, that's pretty bad!
