This game could get intense. Since it's away from Utah's house, I say we go hard at Gobert, try to get him in foul trouble. Their entire team will crumble if this happens.
thats what would make you mad? theirs so many more things going on but your worried about caplet's mins
Not feeling good about this game, be better not buckle under the pressure. The Jazz might have played well, we are supposed to be contenders even with the injuries. All this big talk about well we've played, it won't mean jack if we do not come to play against the Jazz. Harden better work his freaking but off on defense, McHale better screw his head on straight, defenders better help out and communicate, box-out and rebound and will attack on offense with force, no 3pt jack fest.
Would it be possible for the Clippers to be okay with losing tomorrow's road game against the Suns and settle for 5th seed and HCA vs Portland in the 1st rd to avoid playing Memphis?
No way, I mean it could happen but I'd like to think Doc and everyone is smarter than that. The Blazers will see that and understand that clearly. Also they can still get to 2nd and play the Mavs.
Yeah, i thought so too. I hope you're right. These last couple of days of regular season games should be interesting to say the least.
I was getting myself mentally ready to face the blazers again but now seeing this, I want the division title. James might not get the mvp, he might not get the scoring title but if we win the division it gives them the playoff momentum that they need
There is no longer a justification for not playing Capela over Dorsey. Rockets should be ready this time for the Jazz with Howard in starting rotation. Go Rockets!!
The Jazz rested Hayward, Favors, and Burke against the Mavs(as well as in their previous game). The Rockets should win this one regardless, but if those guys all sit again, they really have no excuses. Just take care of business and by the time the buzzer sounds, we'll know who we're playing in Round 1.
This game scares the hell out of me. It's a must win game but I worry that the players might not see it that way and come out lethargic like they sometimes do against bad teams. They should be treating this like a playoff game. I think this game will show us a lot about how well McHale is able to motivate the players as a coach. In any case, we HAVE to win. Playing the Clippers would be terrible, losing HCA would be terrible. Just win and we have a good outcome for the first round no matter what else happens.
Just don't let this guy do this: Spoiler <iframe src='http://streamable.com/e/o6au' width='560' height='315' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen scrolling='no'></iframe>
If the Rockets can't get motivated for this game given everything that's at stake, then I officially give up on this team. I could understand their lethargic play against the Pelicans since they were coming off a demoralizing and frustrating heartbreaker against the Spurs, but Utah is inferior to New Orleans, has nothing to play for, and the Rockets know homecourt is on the line(and possibly the division).
We have won 55 games. I wonder of those how many did you have a "bad feeling", LOL. Seems like a lot. vs the Hornets
So, let me understand...if the Rockets win, clinch home court, win the division...you will be mad if Capela does not get what you consider adequate playing time? Conversely, if the Rockets loose, fall to the sixth seed, D12 has another injury, you would be happy as long as Capela gets playing time? Just trying to understand.
