Point is very clear.......... remove harden and we swap records with Lakers. Warriors lose curry, they still got Clayton, Igadalo, and 2 centers? Harden has carried the Rockets this year on his back hours played and scoring.... not to mention he doubled curry at reaching the free throw line. Curry is the purest shooter in the league........ but he doesn't go in for the contact.

Don't even care that he picked Harden, but props to Aldridge for not just going with the ultra stupid best player on best team argument and ending it at that like so many others.
What Klay Thompson is doing right now (35 at half) is exactly why Harden is the MVP. He just doesn't have anybody who can take over offensively and give him nights off. I know it's been stated thousands of times, but it holds true. Who knows what Harden could do with a guy like Klay?
exactly what I was thinking... I mean they are called "splash brothers" after all.. since when Steph Curry was singled out as "the guy" of Golden State? Andrew Bogut's on/off margin is greater than Curry's and you could make a very good case that Klay Thompson is almost as important to Golden State as Curry.
Watching Klay Thompson singlehandedly destroy Memphis really should deflate Curry's MVP case but it won't
I remember thinking the Warriors where idiots for refusing to trade Thompson for Love, man was I wrong. Thompson has been a stud this season.
Doug Smith has put Harden first on his MVP ballot. http://www.thestar.com/sports/doug_...me-and-here-s-a-look-at-one-man-s-ballot.html I think Harden can win.
Just depends on how many voters understand the word "valuable". If they are enamored by the team record, Harden has no shot.
I agree. But it's looking like a 50/50 split so far on the early ballot submissions, if Harden has a big game tomorrow I think he wins it. Klay's performance today doesn't help Curry imo.
http://hoopshype.com/articles/hoops...of-the-season-according-to-fellow-nba-players well, at least Harden is fellow players' MVP. counts more than the stupid media votes, if you ask me...
What are you talking about man? We all know the MVP votes will go to Curry the best player on the best team and in 2nd place/Runner up will go to Paul Milsap. Best player on the 2nd best team.
Harden wins player of the week, then 2 days later has a bad game and its Curry has created separation It's comical listening to ESPN
Harden has closed the season badly especially the last 4 games when he could have made a stronger case The raw numbers are there but the efficiency from the field and esp 3 point land has gone down. Dude needs to stop jacking up 3's when he doesn't have it going.
