I cannot believe some of you dudes would rather play Golden State over San Antonio. They are such a worse matchup for us.

If Curry wins MVP, it better say Splash Bros on the Trophy.

Thompson did not go nuts on 4 games against the Rox.

He shoot 1-14 in 3s the first 2 games and 6-13 on 3s the last 2 games.

He will get his points but not as bad as many people will afraid.

With the Rockets are playing lately GSW would embarrass them in the playoffs if they played....right now

    Hopefully Rockets flip that switch

If the Spurs are currently on the TV, I bet your reaction will be different.

    Over-reaction as always.

So should we hope that both MEM and LAC lose today, so that we can be #3 seed and not face GSW until the WCF?

I would much rather get out coached by Pop while knowing we have a shot personnel-wise than just get embarrassed by the Splash Bros and be the laughing stock of Twitter. Hate to say that but it's true.

If we had Steph Curry instead of Harden, Curry's fragile body would have already broken down trying to carry this team playing 39 minutes a night... curry is like a better version mahoud aldul raouf

Hmmm...we've beaten the Spurs/kept it close with them. We have been embarrassed 4 times in a row by Golden State.

    Hardly an overreaction.

And GSW just got wasted by the Spurs a week ago and Thompson was 3-11 and scored 6 points?

That is not what he said- he said if, in addition to Harden, if we had someone at the other guard position like a Klay Thompson type player....

Clippers probably watching to see if Grizz lose so they can tank and face Portland in the first round :(

Rockets were swept in the regular season in 1995 by both the Spurs and Magic. Playoffs? Anything can happen. Dallas looked like a lock to go the Finals in 2007 with a 67- win season- so did the Sonics back in 1994 with a 64-win season. You never know what might happen in the playoffs. That being said, I would expect a GSW-Spurs WCF. But nothing is a guarantee in the playoffs.

I couldn't care less what Golden State does against San Antonio or what San Antonio does against Golden State.

AGAINST US...it's not even a debate. The Warriors own us in virtually all areas while the Spurs have obvious matchup/athleticism issues against us.

Once again, the Spurs obviously would be heavy favorites over us, but we'd give them trouble. I don't see us giving the Warriors any trouble, and that has been evident if you've watched the season.

Serious question, is Klay Thompson what J.R. Smith could have been if he wasn't such a knuckle head?

Also the Rox were 0-4 against the GSW but hardly was any embarassment,

we were heavily injuried the first 2 games but both and leading at half getting into the 3rd and 4th but just collapsed at the end.

We did not play that bad as many people will believe at those games.

Kind of like the Spurs got sweep by the Rox last season but most of them were close games.
