So what exactly does Joey Dorsey do better than Clint Capela?

    because they both play the same position yet Dorsey is ahead in the pecking order and I am curious as to why.

    Pick and roll defense would be the first thing to my mind - Joey's perfectly competent at showing the right amount to disrupt it without giving up an easy roll, and mastering the footwork as a young stringbean is always really tough without a lot of reps.

    But overall I think Capela either already brings more or will very shortly.

    Dorsey is so overrated defensively. He stinks on both ends.

    Agree. Capela seems to stick and not balance his spacing enough. Also some of his rotations seem a bit slow. He hasn't had enough burn to really understand the team defense.

    At the end of the day, the guy is 20 years old. I want more experience on the court.

    Joey is just physically bigger, and the Rockets need someone like him to spell a few minutes for Dwight. While Clint's attributes are beyond anything Joey has shown, we do need a garbage man/enforcer with Joey on the floor. Happy for Clint for a great showing, but we shouldnt kid ourselves...If DMo or Dwight were there, Clint and Joey most likely wouldve spent a ton of time on the bench.

    Make other defenders think he is Dwight for a split second, thus altering their shot.

    I really liked that McHale didnt put Dorsey back in the game in the 4th.

    dorsey's +/- has been awful the last 2 games.

    i hope clint is given a chance to stay on the team for a few seasons. he looks like he could be something special

    Loose balls fouls and all those fouls that are the worst possible fouls to give. You know those fouls that are like "he's in there to punish with 6 hard fouls"? The opposite of those fouls.

    i'm only bringing this up because even when Dwight is healthy Dorsey somehow gets on the courts for 10min or so.

    You can't say that Dorsey's defense is better than Capela either because tonight there were 3-4 instances where Capela's presence affected a few Hornets shots and forced them to miss a few attempts at the rim where I think they would have gone in had Dorsey been in.
