So does that go to Villar's ERA?

We have Marwin and Jed. Two players that are better in all facets of the game than Villar. Why is Villar even on the 25 man roster, much less getting spot starts. I'll just go watch the Rockets half time show now.

this striking out business is getting REALLY old. I'm not sure I can take a season of it.

Strong spring and Hinch is convinced he can play most positions... who else do you want on the roster?

Buddy I'm watching the game with: "Might as well turn it off... One of those nights"

Do people not grasp that about 15 of 20 at bats end in outs? Solid contact doesn't always mean hits? And that you're going to lose at least 55 games?

Baseball is a game of sample sizes people. 2 innings or 7 games don't make a team. So much hype coming into the season doesn't mean you'll see it immediately.

The majority of Houston has forgotten the nuances of major league baseball. It will take some time, and a few successful seasons, to rebuild the fan base and the intellect.

By 2006-2007, this city was a very well-informed/well-adjusted/well-educated baseball town. Cheering appropriately at games and not a lot of overreaction to the small sample size issues.

Now, its sorta like the mid 90's all over again.

What's your point? Sounds like both you and your buddy are in agreement that going down 4 run means you're at a pretty big risk of losing the game.

hmmm...i know our 'sluggers' are up in carter and gattis but when they are struggling, and we have 2 on base no one out, why not bunt them over? Beats the DP
