it's true, why would it matter what seed you are in when 2-6th seed are decided separated by like 1 game or possible just head to head tiebreaker

It's r****ded because if we end up 6th, we'll be a game, two games max behind 2nd place.

Harden might lose his MVP due to 6th place.

Harden will lose scoring champion bc Westbrook played 20 something less games.

The official NBA MVP award, voted by the media, will come down to Warriors point guard Stephen Curry or Rockets swingman James Harden. But who do NBA players think deserves to win the Maurice Podoloff trophy?

We asked that question to 29 NBAers in the last few days. It was a close contest, but Harden was the one that ended up prevailing.

All the players polled picked Harden and Stephen Curry in their Top 3, but only the Rockets guard was among the first two choices every time. That's why he comes out on top.

Russell Westbrook, who has carried the injury-plagued Thunder all season long, finished at No. 3 ahead of LeBron James. Anthony Davis, who leads the league in PER and is likely playoff bound, was No. 5.

Chris Paul, Pau Gasol and Dwyane Wade were the only others getting votes.

1st PLACE VOTES 2nd PLACE VOTE 3rd PLACE VOTES
    1. James Harden 15 14
    2. Stephen Curry 12 13 4
    3. Russell Westbrook 2 1 9
    4. LeBron James 13
    5. Anthony Davis 1
    6. Chris Paul 1
    6. Pau Gasol 1
    6. Dwyane Wade 1

Unfortunately, Lowe is one of the only media members who uses critical thinking instead of, "Lolz Curry broke CP3's anklesss!!11!1!!"

The people who vote already have their ballots, and some have already filled them out.

Exactly! How dare he vote for someone who doesn't get an article calling him a messiah every time he plays a game!

The homer Marc Spears and other members of the media have been the biggest spreader of the "Warriors are above campaigning for Curry as the MVP" narrative. Wonder what they think of this.

I am SHOCKED that the Bay Area/Oakland based "national" sports writers, Ethan Strauss, Sam Amick, Marc Spears, are campaigning for Curry! Shocked I tell you!

Yea I used to follow him on twitter until it became clear he had a pro-GS anti Rocket slant with everything he posted.

Even though he wasn't as obvious as the other guys any smart person could easily read through his words.
