Why was the virgin question important? Can you respond in a spoiler or rep? Thanks.

I believe that it may have something to do with her blood sacrifices and Jon Snow possibly having royal blood which she has used before. Maybe since he's not a virgin she can't use his blood for her magic and that is why she was asking him.

Not 100% sure, but it might be the opposite? She was ready to sacrifice the royal blood of the Baratheon b*stard, and he wasn't a virgin. She was riding his penis herself! Maybe she can't sacrifice him if he IS a virgin? Dunno, seems complicated lol.

I definitely think she knows something about him being special. Will never forget the way she looked at him when she first saw him last season.

She was looking to jump his bones and she wanted to make sure he was a vet and not a trainee.

Enough to start a thread about it? Doubtful. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Well the show has had several departures from the book so knowing what happens in the show doesn't mean you know everything that will happen in the books. There's numerous sub-plots that have been altered or eliminated altogether.

I'm imagining two book threads (similar to how we've had two show threads) one for people who'd seen the show and one for those who hadn't. I just don't see much activity in the latter. Just how people who'd already read the books didn't stop reading after the show started. People who are watching the show won't stop watching while they wait 3-6 years (or however long it takes) for GRRM to finish writing. And those who hadn't seen the show would probably avoid the eventual book thread because there will inevitably discussion of the show.

I'm not a book fan or a show fan. I'm just a fan of the series in general. And I'll get my fix from whatever medium it's in as soon as it's made available.

thought the first episode was ok - my biggest disappointment was (and it was known from the opening credits) was there was nothing added to Arya's story arc in braavos. When I didn't see Braavos in the opening credits I was like **** they aren't going to have Arya in this episode.

I thought things were a bit slow - i havent read the books and I went ahead and saw episode 2 last night but I think its going to be a season where the little things right now will set up for some major episodes down the road.

Thank you, and anybody else who understands this and isn't afraid of getting flamed for correctly agreeing with me. It's ridiculous.

How dare I say I personally felt like the next two episodes were slow, I ruined the entire season for everyone. What the F is wrong with some of you? How is it annoying or ruining your experience when I reveal nothing about the plot and only say it felt slow to me?

If I said there'd be huge upset or battles it would be annoying and spoilering suprises, I just said it felt SLOW. Some people really need to think before they type.

I do think that people can be far too sensitive in the GoT threads...however, only one episode has been released thus far. If the people who have chosen not to download the leaked episodes don't want to hear anything about future episodes and just want to come to this thread to discuss episode one, I fully understand their annoyance with even a mention of the pace of future episodes. That being said, it's not difficult to ignore and move on, it is just a show.

Not upset, like I said it was a totally pointless comment and it's ****ing annoying. Pretty simple rule to follow, for the betterment of humanity: If it hasn't happened on the show as broadcast on Sundays on the tv channel HBO, *don't fjucking say anything about it*

    Not a complicated concept.

Let's please don't turn this thread into another multi-page debate about spoilers though.

Lot's of potentially interesting plotlines for the season, except for most anything involving Cersei's ever-increasing c***iness and Sansa & Slimeball's Adventures through the Countryside.

Complaining about something being pointless and annoying is itself even more pointless and annoying.

It's completely understandable to be upset about legitimate spoilers. But you seem to consider everything a spoiler. If someone said, "This is going to be a good season," you would probably complain about it. I'm curious what you'll complain about once the television series has passed up the books.

Somewhere between the middle or end of the season I think, read something like that online.
