This thread is going to die pretty soon. The 2014-15 Lakers season is going to be over soon and Lin will no longer be a Laker after this summer.

In fact, there is a decent chance that after summer 2015, the Jeremy Lin discussions will move back to GARM because he will be a Houston Rocket in 2015-16. It's all a part of the Daryl Morey former player recycling program.

The Haters typical "He's pussying out during Playoffs."

If you're injured, why would you play for a tanking team? Plus, if you're injured, you shouldn't risk any further injuries when your body is your career. It's not a smart choice.

You're hating on a guy for not playing through his injury lol. Just take a gun and shoot him in the legs before playoffs, and if he's unable to play after that, blame him for it. Because that's how ridiculous your logic is.

I think he'll be *somewhere*. There just aren't enough decent players to say he can't be a 2nd or 3rd point guard somewhere.

His shooting was awful this season (just north of 42% FG), but his TOV% went down and his PER went up slightly to 15 or so.

And as long as we can confine him and his haters and his lovers to ONE thread, I'm okay with him having a future in the NBA. Meh.

    - It doesn't matter what anyone here wants Morey to do. It's what Morey and Les want that count when it comes this summer.

    - I don't care if it's Llull or Lin or whoever, I just want this team to add someone who can actually get into the paint off the dribble and finish at a half-decent rate. Mostly what we get from Terry and Prigioni (and even Beverley) are slow, ineffectual strolls through the paint.

RIP Jeremy Lin. What a waste of a roster spot for anyone.

How about morey wanting healthy players in April?
Lin wasn't with the rockets one year and with new York. 3 out of 4 years he's not healthy in April.
That's avoid at all cost metrics

You could argue that trying to p***y out of the playoffs is actually one of Lin's better attributes.

If my team team has Jeremy Lin on it, and it is going to the playoffs, I would rather have him "injured" entering the playoffs.

okay so what would you do in his situation:

    1) Torn meniscus (Repaired?)
    2) Chest contusion(?) btw he tried to play through that and simply couldnt he was horrible, thats on s&c staff imo
3)knee soreness on an operated knee playing on a dead team

Like I understand there is a narrative but I believe you're unfairly perpetuating it.

People do not choose to tear up their knee and if you'd play sport of any kind let alone in a mildely competative arena then you would know that sometimes stuff happens.

Now people can talk about how he wants to preserve his FA value as he did in NYK which is a fair point to make, but by Lins own admission he was unable to even touch the net when the Knicks were in the playoffs, now I'm sure you remember how plodding/slow Lin looked off the back of that surgery.
