That 4th qtr defense by Dwight and Josh is what we need from them every time they're on the court come the playoffs.

Josh has practised his FTs and Dorsey made 2 (hallelujah!).The whole team should be practising their FTs.

Props to the coaches for trusting Prigs in the 4th quarter. The guy doesn't make a lot of mistakes.

Technically yes due to tiebreakers. But again, Memphis has to play at the Warriors tomorrow and may be without Allen, Conley, and Gasol. And their home game against the Pacers on Wednesday is no gimme either, especially if the 8th seed is still up for grabs for Indiana.

And let's not forget the Spurs have to go into New Orleans on Wednesday. The problem there is with Westbrook suspended tomorrow at home against Portland thanks to his 16th T, if the Thunder drop that game and the Pelicans win at Minnesota(which they probably will), New Orleans will lock down the 8th seed BEFORE Wednesday night, meaning they'll have nothing to play for.

So here's hoping Stotts rests Aldridge, Batum, and a host of others so that OKC actually has a chance to win that game.

Jones looks like a defensive train wreck again, this is not a good sign.

Given our geriatric PG situation a lot is gonna be asked of our PF's, and he looks completely lost in rotations.

I think Prigs is who Harden needs alongside him in the 4th to relieve pressure of having to create everything.

Prigs runs the team well when he has shooters around him. He made good decisions passing to Brewer several times in transition and in the halfcourt set

At this point nobody lost - still sixth

Memphis 54 wins, Clips 54 wins and Rockets 54 wins have identical record

Spurs 55 wins with one game more played. Stay tuned

    LOL He got all y'all.

He's clearly mocking all the posters who said that earlier in the game thread.

At this point I'll be happy with the 5th seed. How likely is that?

Stotts is saying he's not resting anyone, especially since the rest of team played bad last game when he did rest Aldridge. Bet he'll limit their minutes though.

I agree! I don't how many times he forgot to box out AD or was anticipating a steal from a teammate and left AD to get out on the break just to see Ad scoop up a loose ball that he would have had if he stuck to his defensive assignment.

His defensive awareness is troubling especially with all the great foward in the west... who knew we would miss DMO's (help) defense more than anything.

The irony is it's a big non-call....but probably not with regards to us and Memphis in the standings, but us and the Spurs. Who woulda thunk that when that loss occurred?

I give Brewer a lot of the credit for this win. The Rockets looked to be sleepwalking until he came off the bench in the third quarter and completely changed the momentum of the game.
