My question is do liberals really and truly support Hillary Clinton? I think the answer is no they do not. They certainly lack enthusiasm for her. Her policy positions have changed so many times over the years, that it's clear that she is an opportunist and not driven by principles. Her negative ratings are high, and half of the country thinks she is not honest and trustworthy. She is not a good retail politician at all, nor is she particularly good at public speaking. Her policy positions on many issues are more centrist than progressive -- and the ones where she is progressive are positions that have "evolved" over time. He left our ambassador to Libya to die, but not before he was tortured for seven hours prior to dying. Seven hours of torture and no help -- think about that for a minute before you dismiss the Benghazi criticism.

How does she take the country forward? I see more gridlock, more partisanship, more negativity, and less progress. I truly think the Democrats should look for another candidate -- just like they did in 2007-2008 -- if they want to win the general election race. The Scott Brown - Martha Coakley race is a good example of what I expect to happen if Hillary is nominated by the Democrats.

Thanks for your concern and advice TJ.

Let's hope you won't have to change your moniker again after Hillary is elected and you have another meltdown?

It's not sexist to me. It is immature, though.

Mature Title: Hillary Clinton Announcing Run, Unfortunately (if you feel you have to put that in there, at least it's mature).

    Immature Title: Obese Woman...

    Grow up, old man.

Cruz Blasts Clinton for Failing to Mention Jesus

"Hillary Clinton sent a very clear message today: she does not intend to bring Jesus with her to Washington," he said. Cruz added that "the choice facing the American people couldn't be clearer: do they want Hillary Clinton in the White House, or Jesus Christ? At the end of the day, I believe they will vote for President Jesus."

    -- Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas)

"Obese woman" scares and sickens the Republican structure to a level unseen before. She has built an incredible infrastructure of support and financing. She has as her husband, the most popular living politican in the USA. Further her husband is active and will campaign and help to an unbelievable degree. She has the support of the current president. She is outspoken and believes in a female agenda, which just disgusts some Republicans. Couple the fact that she is a blue blood academic liberal elite and you have some serious resentment.

They are looking hard at a liberal, Machiavellian WOMAN, with BILL CLINTON forming a power couple ruling this country for 8 more years and they just cannot fathom the level of hell they will suffer... Especially after 8 years of the black Manchurian candidate running this country and encouraging gays and transgendered people and black people to be outspoken.

My GOD... Picture that angry, bitter old fat woman taking away their guns and taxing their money, all the while with Slick Willie smirking in the background with a red nose and a big boner.

You said all of this nitpicky random s**t without actually getting to the meat of the critique: how can a candidate who wants to raise $2.5 billion oppose the banks and corporate interests that crashed America?

Andy Borowitz is a comedian dandorotik.

A comedian really good at exposing the sickness that is today's republican party.

There's so many better reasons to bash the Hill-dog than the fact that she's obese and in a sham of a marriage. Hell just the fact that some people think she has a chance of winning is hilarious in itself.

Does it bother any Democrats that Hillary Clinton advocated for and voted for the Iraq war?

The scary thing is that, even knowing that, it wouldn't surprise me at all to hear that from one of the crazies.

The Republicans will screw up once again and put forth some weak candidate rather than someone who's decent like John Huntsman.

Hilarious. I respect politicians that don't pretend to be religious for the sake of pandering, which is sadly the majority.

You don't think Hillary has a chance of winning? Is that coming from the same source that predicted a whopping Romney win? Heck, even my conservative friends realize she's very well liked, has experience, and carries herself well with moderates. Republicans and conservatives have way more of a reason to be afraid of Hillary than Obama. Your comment is obviously borne out of fear- the only thing that will cause Hillary a problem is the email thing. You might tell yourself that there will be more, but telling yourself that doesn't make it so.

I mean, let's look at this, you've got:

    1. Someone who has a great deal of foreign policy experience- heck, definitely more than Obama.

    2. Someone who can be the first female president in the history of the U.S. (don't think that doesn't play into it- not making a judgment on that, but that one reason is going to bring in moderate female voters)

    3. Someone who, if elected, is bringing in Bill Clinton as the First Man of the U.S.- so, it's almost like bringing him back for a 3rd term- so, you're going to have every single Democrat voting for them.

    4. Someone who, like Ronald Reagan, bounces back from controversies- you're talking about another Teflon candidate.

    5. Someone who, if they ever bring up Bill's infidelities, is going to garner just as many sympathy votes as non-votes from those who consider her weak.

    6. Someone who can debate effectively with the best of them.

I mean, Republicans have every reason to be afraid- and they know it. I'm personally not getting that involved in this one like the last 2- but I'm telling you, if I am a Democrat, I am more confident about her candidacy than Obama's.

I didn't predict a Romney win....he was a terrible candidate that had very little chance of winning a national election....despite all the advantages he had going for him.

I think Hillary's chances of winning are entirely dependent on outside factors. I think that she's a terrible candidate and the Democrats would be smart to nominate someone else because if the Republicans can come up with anything better than a total disaster of a candidate, they'd coast to an easy win.

Now if the Republicans nominate someone like Jeb Bush, sure Hillary would have a very good chance of winning sort of by default, but that doesn't make her a competent candidate. Too many people strongly dislike her, and it would be really easy to beat her.
