Despite this epic collapse, I'm pleased with McHale's overall performance. Starting CP impressed me; we usually come out of timeouts with well-executed plays; he panders to none; calls it like it is... I'm still pissed about that PPatt in the 4th Q nonsense, but no one's perfect. The overall team chemistry seems good. Let's see how he does with Moti and draft pick and whatever else DM gets him for next year.

People giving him credit for his rhetoric with the media and correctly calling TOs back then but it looks like he has regressed.

We're not rebuilding anymore. It's time to get a real coach.

Bandwagoner... looks like you were right are all along.

It was one regular season game. Relax. Man, people are acting like this is Lillard 2.0 or something.

This is a repeat of all the games problems. Bad free throw shooting. Lack of adjustments. Poor ball
    Handling.

I was wrong about McHale. He's even worse than I thought.

Where's that Hitler video someone made the second year he was here when we dropped from 6th to 8th on our last game loss to LAL? Harden also disappeared and Parsons tied the game with a miracle 3pt heave so we could lose in OT.

    McHale is not good.

But our injuries to Bev and DMo have killed the team for good this year.

Mchale is not shooting free throws. He did not acquire a group of bigs who can't shoot free throws.

Don't be dense. No one wanted Terry ahead of him

We do not have the luxury to rest players like other teams do but McHale has to get a better handle on that

    Overplaying - Risk of injuries

And I am not talking about obvious game problems.

Turnovers, bad FT shooting, so unclutch in situations without Harden (when is off)

Inconsistent Defense, getting back on D

I don't know why people rip on McHale so much. He's done an incredible job this year. Guy deserves some credit for that

Bev and DMo injuries may have hurt the team, but let's get real. We still have two max level players on the roster that should be good to go in the playoffs. If we flame out again in the first round, no one is going to make the excuse about us not having a couple of role players when we have our "superstars" playing.

We should get out of the first round with 2 all-stars playing heavy minutes. If we don't, McHale's ass should be out.

None of the players who got hurt played more than 30.8 minutes a game.

We are very likely to be on the road against either the defending champs, or another team with 2 all stars. It will be an upset if we get out of the first round under those circumstances.

Not sure I would have given McHale an extension, however it is hard to argue with his results. It may not be pretty, but he's been winning since he's gotten here (including the lockout year). Harden has been able to grow from a great 6th man to an All-star to now a Superstar and arguably best player in the game (He does deserve some credit for that too, correct?). He's no Pop or Carlisle (I think probably the 2 best coaches in todays game) but he's been able to get the players to play at an elite level at times. I think Mchale is in the top half of NBA coaches, maybe even top 10. Stop hating and respect the man already!
