Flip Saunders is so smart on handling rookies. He's played Wiggins and LaVine over 40 minutes a game a lot recently and they are getting so much run and experience.
Ok so if we take care of business tomorrow, there's a 4 - way tie for 2nd place? I don't even wanna think about that though. New Orleans matches up too well with us.
He just said the team seems ready for the postseason, so I'm not sure. They do have two potential things to play for, but I'm not sure if they care: 1) To keep SA out of the 4/5 bracket. 2) Their home winning streak.
Not so much so. We need the Warriors to beat the Grizz now which is very possible of course. Spurs to drop one against the Suns or Pelicans. The Spurs dropping a game is a lot to ask for right now but hey...they ain't perfect. Honestly, I'm more worried about us actually winning out. So like the Rockets to drop a huge game against a lesser team at the end of the season.
It's not impossible at all. The Rockets need to win out first of all. I don't know why people on here seem so pessimistic about that. They always needed to win these last 3 games in order to get the 2nd seed, even before they lost at home to the Spurs. Next, the Grizzlies need to lose at Golden State. Depending on how banged up Memphis is and how serious the Warriors are, you'd think Golden State would take this one. Then the Spurs have to lose at New Orleans(they're not gonna fall to the Suns at home). Seems like a longshot, but keep in mind that the Pelicans very likely will be playing for the 8th seed that night. So that won't be an ordinary game for them. They're gonna give San Antonio everything they have.
Considering we're playing two teams who have laid massive beatdowns on us this season, it's completely fathomable. In fact, given how real the struggle has been so far this season, I'm simply praying that we suffer no more injuries.
