Carter went to the Biggio/Pence offseason clinic on how to swing at every single ****ing slider thrown down and away off the plate.
This is what we get with Hernandez, a 4.50 ERA for sure, and not good pitching. I did not like this move for the Astros, why pay that money when you have BETTER options in the minors (Peacock, Strailey, Appel)
I dont like Carter, he hits homers, but thats all. He is a DH, period, if we are going to have that clown playing 1b for us, it is going to be a long year.
I guess he's physically incapable of throwing overhand. Carter should have had it, but he threw him a fricking changeup low and away.
I turned it off too. That play in the first inning between Marwin and Herhandez was truly similar to how 8 year olds play, and that second little league move of the night just ended the game for me. Why can't Carter catch, why can't Thatcher throw normal to first!!! I'm done for the night. See y'all tomorrow.
Thatcher did his full sidearm windup as if he was throwing to home. Toss it to Carter, you're out of the inning.
I also turned the game off after Carter's gaffe Hernandez actually did quite well out there -- not sure why the hate. If Carter caught that, as he should have, Hernandez would have left with only 2 runs.
