Because yours was easily the most ridiculous.

Well sorry I don't like 3 minute long highly choreographed "fight" dances. I like a lot about the show. All I said was "I think the fights scenes could be a little shorter." Geez.

I'm with you. Loving the show so far with about 4 episodes to go, but sometimes it's like...I get it. He's beating dudes up. Doesn't have to be multiple minutes long. It just gets repetitive after a while.

I still don't really understand the problem with the fight scenes. It's not like a lengthy portion of every episode contains one. Plus, it's not like two people trying to punch each other out, repeatedly doing the same motions at every turn. You guys will like the DD - Nobu showdown, as it's a change of pace from fisticuffs only.

Hell, DD is a change of pace from all of Marvel's fare so far. Not an insane use of gadgets like Iron Man, no pew pew laser cannons like GotG, and barely any use of weapons like Capt's shield. The (mostly) hand to hand combat in every fight scene in DD was a breath of fresh air, imo.

Where are you getting pages? The show only came out around when page 3 was created for this thread.

So far, you're the only poster on this thread with something negative to say. Again, it's not that you criticized the show - in my post a few comments up, I pointed out a lot of things I didn't like. It's the fact that your criticism was so specific, and honestly, had nothing to do with the show.

Tell me if this sounds ridiculous: "I didn't like how Newman drove his mail truck in this one episode. So thus, I'm going to stop watching Seinfeld " or "I didn't like how that car had an automatic transmission when cars of that model year had only manual transmissions because [lengthy history factoid]. So therefore, I'm going to stop watching Mad Men. These writers GERT IT WRENG."

A very minor gripe about a very minor character is fine. But to have that cause you to stop watching the show is just ridiculous. I hope you finish the season. It's a really good series.

Marvel have yet to come out with something that the general public dislikes. Pretty crazy. If this is a sign of things to come with Netflix's other upcoming Marvel shows, its a great time to be a fan.

    Really enjoying the show.
A lil too bloody for me (coming from an action movie fanatic) but the story is interesting and keeps me entertained.

MVP of this show has to go to Kid Murdoch. For once we have a child that doesn't grate on the nerves. Everyone else on this show is bringing their A-game too. Well casted, especially Urich.

The difference with this show between it and Flash or Agents of Shield is how well its shot. It's like Breaking Bad or The Wire.

I care about the people in Daredevil. Agents of Shield, not so much.

I'd give Papa Murdock the "best acting to screentime ratio" actor award, if it was a thing. I hope he comes back next season to show how he and Matt's relationship was, before the accident. Small glimpses were given, like the stitching up of the boxing wounds, but more father - son screentime would be appreciated.

I kinda agree. Aside from Coulson and maybe Fitz and Simmons, I honestly wouldn't think much of it if they were all written off. Sounds bad, but it's true.

Just finished it. I really liked it a lot, though I thought it started to lose some steam down the stretch in the last few episodes. Still very good.

I give it an 8.5/10. Netflix continues to deliver.

I wonder if Chiklis would have been a better Kingpin.

I wanted to read more about Kingpin and came across this crazy Punisher story. Spoilered because it is obviously a spoiler of that storyline (and a tiny bit of the Daredevil one) and because it's a WTF kind of graphic.

Kingpin appears in a storyarc in the Max version of The Punisher, starting with the first issue of Punisher MAX #1, with Bullseye as his main henchman.[42] Like the mainstream version he is incredibly strong, able to squeeze someone's head until their eyes pop out. He is a highly formidable hand-to-hand combatant, cunning and utterly ruthless. This version of Fisk is also married to Vanessa and has a son, Richard, who is depicted as a young child.

Punisher MAX gives several additional elements to Fisk's background. He is said in this version to be of Irish ethnicity. As a child, Fisk, who comes from Hell's Kitchen, was regularly beaten and abused by his father. After killing a stray dog that Fisk had adopted, Fisk drugged his father and watched him eaten alive by starving rats. At some point in his criminal career, Fisk was convicted and sent to Attica. There he was badly beaten and gang raped by five men, the leader of whom was "Big Lucky". When he was released, Fisk arranged for Big Lucky's wife to be gang-raped by a dozen drug-addicts and winos. He took photographs of the rape and mailed them to Big Lucky, who broke out of jail. When he arrived home, his wife was dead, and Fisk was waiting for him and tortured him for one whole night before killing him, establishing his reputation in the criminal world.

Almost done with it. Very surprised about this show, I came to it with no expectations since I have zero knowledge about the comic, or comics, in general. With that said, I think this show slots next to House of Cards as the best things Netflix has to offer.

I like that Marvel went in such a different direction with DD. Guardians and I assume Dr. Strange (directed by a horror movie specialist) are also very different. He's a welcome addition to the Marvel cast but the show itself doesn't do a whole lot for me. I'm picky about what I watch and this just isn't that entertaining for me so far (5 in). I don't get off to long fight scenes. Stopped watching Van Damme movies at 10.

I cant see this DD and the 16yr old Spiderman interacting...
