So us having NONE of our starting big men, as well as our next big man off the bench didn't help DeRozan get to the basket much easier?? We were playing a wing (Josh Smith), a well-meaning buffoon (Joey Dorsey), and a rookie (Clint Capela) as our primary rim defenders, but DeRozan went off because we were missing Pat Beverley?? Come on, give me a break. This is getting to be ridiculous. It was ONE LOSS, ON A BACK TO BACK, WITH US MISSING 3 ROTATIONAL BIG MEN.

 

Beverly made a name for himself by injuring and pissing off russel westbrook. After that everyone saw him as an elite level defender. He's never been that, he can't stay with anyone. He has good energy, toughness and will irritate the opponent with his physicality but that doesn't do any good when he's getting burned on the way to the rim. It's really not that big of a loss.

 

it's such a pity that pat got injured because we don't really have a starting PG on our team, Prig and Terry are backups, too old to compete with these young guns, we couldve used Pat's D against the likes of Paul, Parker, Lilliard, Conley, i hope Nick Johnson can get some burn when we need to D up these guys.
