    Yes, the "block" was clean.

However, the ball remained in Harden's hand and Duncan subsequently fouled him BEFORE the release.

In effect, Duncan fouled Harden before the shot.

Why make a new thread? Just get over it. Harden even complain one bit.

Give it up man. Even Harden didn't argue the call at the end of the game.

Who cares, the Rockets would have found another way to screw it up... Harden would have missed both free throws or the Rockets would have lost the next two. The Rockets are what they are, first round fodder that better coached and more professional teams walk over.

email this picture to the league! they will surely give us the win.

it sucks, but we shouldn't have been in that position to begin with. 21 turnovers and 20 missed free throws is what lost the game. not this no-call.

we lost the game before the last play. if you're going to obsess over 1 play, why not any of the turn overs or missed free throws? pick one of those, post a picture and say if that didn't happen we would've won, and you'd be just as right as this one. the difference is with this play, you can blame the refs, and with the 40 other plays you would have to blame our players.

I just don't see how you can get upset over an iffy call (if you think it was obvious, you're just saying things you want to hear) and not the thousands of things the Rockets did wrong tonight that would have easily won the game to begin with.

The refs were bad tonight, but hardly the reason we lost.

Yeah, the players get the blame in every loss. That will never not be the case...

But can we EVER hold the refs accountable?

After watching a half a dozen times...still can't tell if Duncan hitting Harden's arm forced the miss or was it Harden tipping the ball....

From Harden's reaction after, he sort of knew

Point was that it was a 2 shot foul that was not called.

sure, but it won't change anything. they will never go back and change who gets the win, or redo the last play on another day. so the idea is to take the refs out of the game by having a large enough lead that their blown calls dont matter.

if we missed 18 free throws instead of 20 we would've won the game, bad calls or not. had TJ not tried to become nash on a behind the back pass, we might've scored on that play and won the game without needing the refs to make the call at the end, etc... you can literally find 40+ plays tonight that would've led to the rockets winning without needing the refs.

Does anyone else think Harden could've lobbed it up to Dwight for an alley-oop? It was too obvious what we were trying to do.

first, i liked that he took it to the rim instead of settling for a step back J.

however, once you see duncan at the rim you either take it into his chest and go for the dunk, or you stop short and go for the floater... duncan wasn't going to leave dwight, that's why he didn't step up to cut off the drive, he just waited for harden at the rim. the lob was never there because duncan didn't leave dwight.

he needed to either take it into duncan's chest and go for the dunk, or stop short and go for the floater knowing that duncan won't leave dwight.

Yeah, in every loss there is something that could be better. It is separate from just having the refs make the right calls though.

It won't change anything for the loss, but the NBA needs to hold their guys a lot more accountable. If not for tonight but the other games we lost because of a poor officiating night or a late no call.

Leonard and Duncan made a trap for harden, and then a clean block. That's all. Stop crying.
