Tim Duncan wont score 29 again either...This was a close game, but the Rockets choked at the FT line. Blame for Bigs and Mchale. Period.

 

I also don't think Duncan scoring 30 and 10 will happen too often, especially if Dwight gets off the minute restriction. It almost always evens out.

I'm not saying I'd be thrilled with it. I'm just saying the Rockets could *feasibly* beat them. They just have to play a great series and not be completely braindead.

 

oh yes the rockets could beat them. but they have the advantage of better coaching and better chemistry and healthier players.

like i said, we shoot 3s all the time, they shoot 3s at the right time.

The 29 points Duncan got seemed all at the rim. He destroyed the paint defense (Smith, Jones Dorsey and Dwight all had issues)..What a terrible time to lose a big that could actually shoot (Although DMo also struggles from the line...but definitely wouldve made more tonight)

 

this was tough loss. i hope the coaching staff learns what happened tonight.

hope dwight steps up in the playoffs, that's our best shot.

THIS was the spurs 3rd game in 4 nights. They went easy on you guys.

 

I think it's better we stay at 6th spot so we can avoid GSW as long as possible. SAS will be gunning for 2nd spot.

We may be better off playing vs MEM or LAC, because POR with LMA is gonna be unstoppable again.

 

I'm furious now. And I hope the Rockets take on the Spurs.

 

Lost in all of this was while the Spurs have been blowing everyone out, the Rockets without 2 starters and limited Dwight only lost by a single point despite Josh Smith missing more than half of his free throws and Harden having a bad game.

This is not exactly a terrible sign for the Rockets.
