LOL Mavs; they had a 23 pt lead and nothing to play for and now they are up 4

The Jazz were up 86-82 at the 4:43 mark. It's now 29 seconds left and they still have 86 points. Thanks a lot, Utah. They better play like that in the season finale in Toyota Center.

The Rockets are still ok for home court as long as the Grizzlies don't lose tomorrow and then win at Golden State and at home against Indiana(while the Spurs and Clippers presumably win out). That's the only scenario where winning out leaves them still in the 6th seed.

the spurs are going to lose a game to NO Pelicans, I'm calling it. They might even lose to the suns.

We'll see. There are two scenarios I now hope play out. First is Memphis losing tomorrow at LA and then at Golden State, us winning out, and the Spurs losing at New Orleans in the season finale. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that gives us the division and the 2nd seed.

Scenario #2 is Memphis beats the Clippers tomorrow(and doesn't lose more than 1 game after that), San Antonio wins out, and we win out. That would give Memphis the division and the 2nd seed. The playoffs would be MEM/DAL, SAS/LAC, and POR/HOU(with us having homecourt). I'd be more than happy with that outcome. Can you imagine either the Clippers or Spurs having to go home in Round 1?

I don't either. But it wouldn't shock me. If New Orleans has a playoff spot riding on that last game, they are gonna leave everything on the floor. The Spurs will of course have a lot on the line themselves(well, assuming the Rockets win out), but I could see the Pelicans pulling that one off. They did just beat the Warriors the other night.
