I just thought about something. Why didn't the team recover and foul the rebounder? We still had over 1 second on the clock for the tie??
what's likely is that three of the teams in our division will have the same record and we'll be the ones that get screwed
It's not about practice. Dorsey is not gonna become a good foul shooter by working on it. At this stage of his career, this is what he is. And even if he did improve, what would that mean? He upped his percentage from 25% to 35%? That's still worse than DeAndre Jordan and you see how often he's sent to the line. Josh Smith just need to up his foul shooting to 55-60% and this kind of thing won't happen. But any sub-50% free throw shooter is gonna get this kind of treatment in a close game if you've got the fouls to spare.
Thanks for the "neg" rep on this one! I f****** love the rockets, but a clutch block is a clutch block. Harden should have shot a step back.
2 seed still in play. Memphis loses to Utah, then beats Clippers, then loses to Golden State. Spurs lose to Phoenix or @ New Orleans Rockets win out.
Everything is still in play, although I doubt the Spurs are going to be losing another game. Memphis on the other hand...
Possibly, but who knows? The game was really lost in the final minute of the 3rd quarter. Those back-to-back 3's by Mills really were the difference.
hacking bad free throw shooters has to stop because it makes the game soooooo ugly. here's a solution. After a player has been fouled a certain number of times, every time he is fouled, that team is awarded two points. No more of this hacking crap.
