It makes me hate the spurs
as much as I hate the Patriots with their DeflateGate/TapeGate/Cheating asses

Really? Your blind confidence in the Rockets is to be admired.

But the 'no confidence' in this board is very, very warranted.

We have a coach who has no idea how to coach.

We have a team who are absolutely pathetic at free throws - and it seems free throws aren't even part of daily practice.

We go up by 13 and I'm not even confident that we'll keep the lead.

We are a stupid team. A very, very stupid team. And when you have a stupid head coach it all adds up to failure.

People have a right to have no confidence in this team. Late season collapses are the norm under coach McHale. And here we go again. From 2 to 6. And it doesn't matter who we face in the playoffs because we aren't - as you put it - gonna shut ***** down. They're going to shut us down. With their head coach. And they're going to laugh at us while they're doing it. Just like Portland did last year.

As great as Morey has been. He handcuffed this team when he offered this idiot a 3 year extension.

 

I'm just so sad and mad and pissed all at the same time. I just hate the Spurs and just don't get why they haven't turned into dust and how they keep winning !!!!! Harden has everything but that killer big game instict but he's still young

How does one go from a 3 point threat on offensive to a sub 50% free throw shooter?

 

At least we can now go into the playoffs and have zero expectations, right?

Or nba players need to shoot better than 50/50 from the free throw line. That's how you make the other team stop.

I can not blame the refs for this loss with a clear conscious, that last play was a 50/50 call and the refs ain't calling that 90% of the time in the closing secs. The one that should be blamed is the guy campaigning himself to be MVP of the league and not showing up for the biggest game of the year, The Spurs gave us plenty of chances to win, yet we failed and as a result will likely fall 4 places in the West.

 

Fair for both teams? To hell with that. A team that has fouled 5 times should not gain any advantage.
