Nope James had a bad game in all reality for his standards but he has been there all year

 

Shameful. Just shameful.

It doesn't excuse McHale leaving Smith in there for so long, but if I found myself in a position where I had to Hack-a-Player to win... I wouldn't do it. It's a BS strategy, and it disrespects the game more than anything else.

 

Go learn to make free throws or get some better free throw shooters.

Bank it in for crying out loud. Got a [magic] square on the backboard, use it.

I feel so sad right now... we really needed 2nd seed that was so important guys

 

I wasn't even supposed to watch this game, I was supposed to go out with my friends to this new bar down in Brickell, started feeling some pain in my toe making me limp. Had an ingrown nail that turned into an infection so the doc drained it with a blade (which really hurt) put me on anti biotics, so I can't drink. & he told me to rest it or else it wouldn't get better. Oh and also, i dropped my phone at the doctors so it cracked.

So i stayed home and watched this train wreck.

Probably one of the worst days I've had in years.

I apologize for the over-reaction but this it the Vent Thread. I am aware of James Hardens incredible season but we just lost a super close game and I know James could've have won it for us in the last play but I am just angry right now. Just need to blow out some steam and this seems to be the point of this thread no?

 

Except they gave the Spurs 3 ticky tack calls

 

Of course. 21 missed free throws. For christ sakes. You are professionals. Hit your free throws. We lose by one and miss how many free throws.

Nice. I am going solely off box score. 16 points. Not a good showing. But hell. Didn't make it down to smith going 12/26 at the line. Really no excuse for that. NONE

I'd say the next time they hack smith, he should just try to break Duncan's jaw. Let teams know 6 minutes of hacking will get a starter on the injured list

 

3rd seed is still possible but that would probably mean we play the clips

 

It's pissing me off more and more that a f**king professional basketball player can't hit free throws. That goes for Dwight, Dorsey, and Smith. Get your f**king a** in the gym and shoot 5000 free throws a day if that's what it takes.

 

New rule should be if a hack-a-whoever is used, the shooting team can pick any shooter every other trip to the line. That is fair for both teams.

I cheer for this team, i bleed Rockets red but they always disappoint me.

Such a underachieving franchise. Haven't done crap since Hakeem left.

Curry will 100% win the MVP.

And Harden will probably leave when his contract is up.

 

Hack-a-player is the most incredibly asinine way to win a game. It should be called a flagrant one every time. I lose respect for every coach that uses it.
