our starters proved to be able to build a lead against their starters tonight. that's a good sign going into the 3rd quarter when both sets of starters play. their bench kicked our bench's ass and brought them back in the game. the chance is going to have to be a tighter rotation in the second half. no johnson/dorsey for spot minutes. extend dwight's minutes and try to hold off their bench run.
Need to pass the test of when Howard goes to the bench in the second half. The team needs to find a way to play well without him on the D side of the court.
The team D on him is incredible. They are making a concerted effort not to foul. The lane is absolutely packed every single time he drives. He is doing the right thing in not forcing shots. We need our secondary guys like Smith, Jones and Brewer to keep moving off the ball to find those little seams in the defense since everyone is focused on Harden.
