Hey at least Gattis is making contact instead of whiffing the ball! Baby steps

Nice knuckleball by McHugh. I don't know how guys can hit his curveball without a boat paddle.

    Sacrifice Marsinick.

Please. Just bunt them over for Tuve and Springer.

Bass acts like he wants to keep pitching in the bigs. Terrible bunt, great play.

Almost half of our regular lineup is still hitting .000. Even Adam Everett is somewhere saying "these guys can't hit".

One thing I'm certain of in the early part of the season; Alan Ashby is a BS' er and a terrible announcer.

I'm not sure a human being (other than McGwire in his 1st BP at the dome, or Jim Leyritz off of Wagner, or Piazza off of Wagner, or some nameless somebody off of Lidge) can hit a baseball harder than Springer did just then. Martin took 3 steps in and said "Oh ****" and was lucky it didn't carry over his head for an inside the parker.

    Delino: 2ABs, 1 H, 1 RBI

Whew, Carter looks positively tolerable at 1B so far, and the shift is working to perfection. Maybe those geeks know what they're talking about.

McHugh out for precautionary reasons per Root. Blister was forming on his pitching hand

You'd think Nolan would have them soaking their hands in pickle brine, or Bagwell would fly his buddy Alou in from the DR to piss on their hands.

Jake Marisnick is now the Astros' leader in RBI.

AND he's got somewhat of a beard going...everyone knows he'll have to grow it to Grecian lengths before solidifying the MVP for Houston...Keuchel on the other hand, is well in the running
