Scrabble. A complete and total massacre everytime we play. There is no need to keep score.

Resolving customer service issues. I do all I can but I give up too easily. Too laid back, I guess. If I really need an issue resolved (in our favor), I send in my ICBM (her) and we get free stuff.

Oh, and Wii bowling. Consistently kicks my ass.

That's easy. cycling and running. She kicks my ass at these endurance events. Her will power is second to none. I don't know how she does it. She's dealing with Morton's Neuroma and has gotten injection treatments, but they wear off, and she still runs a 5k at least every other day. She's cycled the Jalapeno 100(100 miles) 4 times, Conquer the Coast(65 miles) about 6 times, and the Oblate(61 miles). In comparison, I've finished the Jalapeno 1 time out of 2 attempts, dropped out of conquer the coast twice, ( at 35 and 40 miles), and finished the Oblate the one time I rode it.

That and she can dance better than anyone I've ever seen.

    • Yep, complaining to customer service, as well.
    • also, planning parties.
    • Buying gifts for people. I'm good with a few friends and family, but not everyone.

Giving gifts/thinking of others. I struggle to think of good gifts for most people and most occasions, but she always comes up with the perfect gift that nobody else thinks of.

Holding conversations. I'm okay at this, but I'm also the type of person that if I don't have anything to say, I'm not going to say anything. In other words, I'm not great at small talk and she can turn small talk into a real conversation.

And lots of other typical chick dominated things like dancing, arts and crafts, etc.

Damn, I wish my wife could handle the customer service stuff. She's too much of a pushover though so I do it. (And when I can't do it, I usually bring in my sister.)

Not to sound too lamely stereotypical but: I always try to have my wife with when I'm building or assembling something moderately complex. Not because she's especially good at it (she's not) but because I always get ahead of myself and abandon the instructions which of course always leads to mistakes and then me getting frustrated, throwing my hands up in anger and jumping in my truck to pick up some guys from Home Depot. Her purpose is basically to supervise and stop me before I waver too much from the instructions.

Yeah, we usually go with a professional for stuff like this.

Ever since the time I accidentally swallowed a screw while trying to install a ceiling fan.

My SO is better at decorating and all that girly stuff. My place looked like a crappy frat house when she moved in, now we have accent paintings.

But I cook circles around her! So she cant have all the womanly duties.

THIS! We've discovered a system, especially for the more complex ones. I get everything out and organize while she puts it all together. It works beautifully and is really a microcosm of our entire relationship.

Eating healthy, exercising, yoga and massages. I highly recommend dating a yoga instructing massage therapist.
