South Carolina cop charged with murder in black man's death

This is one of the main reasons I don't trust police. I used to work with a former HPD officer and had an uncle(through marriage) that would tell me stories about this stuff all the time. They would laugh about it.

 

Out of curiosity, does anybody else share the sentiment above?

I laughed hysterically at this bit of satire.

Cops need cameras. You're a servant nothing more. Unfortunately for $45-50k a year you're getting idiots with guns who obviously bring personal vendettas with them from lower and lower middle class upbringing.

 

I did hear two deputys down, so this dude probably deserved worse. I guess getting your just rewards doesnt resonate with some of you. The same people that are against the death penalty until it happens to a family member or friend.

 

I'd like to pour some acid in the pool when you're in there. See if you change your tune.

Serious question about what the cop will be charged with...

The dashboard cam shows a normal routine traffic stop with the officer seemingly going about it professionally. After the guy runs, the officer used a taser first before firing his gun. If the defense uses this to try to say the killing wasn't premeditated and had no forethought and something that happened in the "heat of the moment," could that carry a lesser charge and what would that be?

 

From what I heard is that the deputies were kicked by a horse. Perhaps they should've beaten horse then.

You might find it interesting too that several victims of the Boston Marathon bombing are against executing Tsarnaev.

 

I don't know enough about SC law but I agree that premeditation probably won't play a role in this case. It will probably be something like Murder 2.

Wasnt too long ago a horse thief was hung, I think he be alright. Today people don't expect repercussions for their actions. Then you have the bleeding hearts who are upset when a perps head is bumped while being put in the backseat of a patrol car after a high speed chase that left innocent people dead. Stop the madness.

 

Horse thief took a beating. In Before: If he was black he would have been shot.

The job of the police is not to punish those that break the law. Nobody is saying he doesn't deserve repercussions. That is what the court system is for. He will see his day in front of a judge and jury. This guy was beaten by half a dozen officers AFTER surrendering, its not quite bumping his head.

 

LOL. I love it when idiots try to justify police brutality.

It's not really a story though because the guy was white. Sure the cops were wrong, but you can't twist it into a racism issue, so no one cares. It advances very few narratives.

 

That horse... can't help but to stare at him getting SCARRED for life.
