Wow...it is really too bad for D-Mo. Dude was a true warrior for us this season with D12 and TJ out.

    Speedy recovery, D-Mo!

Poor guy cant catch a break. I felt something was wrong with the way DMo consistently kept hitting the front of the rim on his hook shots. The stress of guarding bigger and stronger players at the 4 and 5 caused this. Herniating a disc is a very serious matter and it can lead to life long disability. The fact that he feels that his power is half of what it should be alone is very concerning to me. I do hope that his surgery goes well and that he recovers quickly. It took Dwight almost a year to get back to decent level...only to deal with a knee problem this year. Get well big fella and thanks for a terrific season of work.

Wait.... is that interview above legit? A herniated disk??? Did I miss something.

I knew his back was not recovering well, but if you are talking about fusing a disk in his back you are potentially ending your career. He seems way too young for that to be even an option.

Exactly ... Hopefully everthing goes well and he rehabs . Forget playing overseas and get ready for next season . The rehab for this is probably a ton of core exercise . Dmo might come back stronger and more athletic . But his effort against NOP shows that he will be a monster next year.

Playoffs just got a lot harder for the Rockets. Team is going to need to gel as it is or bow out early.

No Beverly and no DMo, is a lot more to shoulder for Harden.

its legit, srsly this went from "oh no big deal, few weeks and he will be alright" to "well he might need few months to completely heal" to "actually this might end his career". Sad

On a serious note, this is very sad. The guys on this squad seem like good people, basketball aside -- really sucks to see so many of them catch such tough breaks this season.

Why is there still no official word from the team, yet apparently the guy has already undergone surgery?

According to Jopatahollic, Morey is trying to trade D-Mo and Jones so he wants to keep his value high on draft night. Its just a spasm guys.... just a spasm.

Oh, and Derrick Williams... Morey's DEFINITELY going after that guy. He's the answer. Added him to my sig just now.
