I know he is being guarded well but he needs to put up more than 15 shot attempts in order for us to win. especially when nobody else can hit a shot to save their lives. At the end of the day MVPs get it done
We're about to find out what the Rockets are made of. They've responded well to adversity all year. Now's the time.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Jason Terry said last night's loss was a wake-up call. Thanked the "champs for that whoopin'"</p>— Jenny Dial Creech (@jennydialcreech) <a href="https://twitter.com/jennydialcreech/status/586250539329003521">April 9, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
I'm glad Terry feels that way. I just don't understand why they needed a wake up call in the first place. Did they not know what was on the line? Had they not seen how well the Spurs were playing lately?
That wasnt important to them i guess. They were content on barely coasting through wins. Thinking they could find a way to pull out another win i imagine. If Rockets are awake i have them Rockets winning 105 - 98 if Rockets are sleeping again i have them Spurs 110 - 75
There's zero excuse not to make at least 1/2 FTs, ZERO! I don't care how big your hands are, how you learned to shoot it growing up, you're a professional who makes millions!!! If you're scared to shoot or pressure gets to you, you do not belong in the NBA, pure and simple. Any bad FT shooter except for Dwight needs to be out of the game at the end of quarters, make it happen McHale you dumb ****.
It's that mentality that's prevented them from having a lengthy winning streak all season(aside from the 6-0 start). They win 3 or 4 in a row, get cocky, and come out and lay an egg like last night.
I don't understand the shock that they needed a wake up call lol. They give up big double digit leads at the end of every 4th quarter against bench scrubs, forcing our starters (likely just Harden) to come back in and get the closing save to win by 5 or less. That's been the case all season.
LOL right. I don't care how old Terry is you don't just nudge a guy from behind by extending your arm when he's going up for an uncontested layup.
Simply put, Rockets played regular season b ball and spurs played playoff b ball last night. I want so see Rockets play like its the finals. Need more intensity.
It was funny watching Terry, who quite clearly can't defend a pole, fight over screens and let Parker waltz into the lane. He got no help from the screener's man, but it really was just comical.
Yes it would in H-Town. I just can't see the team losing that badly at the TC. IF a blow out does occur tomorrow I am hoping the Rockets are paying back the Spurs.
When I was watching the game I was completely quiet for most of the game. It was pretty amazing. It's rare, not sure I've ever seen a night where a player waltzed into the lane that often. Any pull up mid range shot he wanted he could get. I don't remember a single time he was put on his back, not a single one. He just had a lay up drill all night long. I was just amazed we let that happen the entire night and still thinking back on it...amazes me.
