    I think if Ferguson hadn't happened they'd of back him.

    Police know that the country is at fever pitch when if comes to officer involved deaths. Could you imagine the amount of hysteria and rioting there would be right now if this cop hadn't been arrested, fired and charged?

    The two cases are entirely unrelated. If he had a case for this being self defense rather than outright murder, the union would back him. There's simply no case to support him.

    The trouble in Furguson was just uninformed people making fools of themselves while robbing and vandalizing a town. This case is actually a legitimate example of police wrongdoing. You shouldn't destroy its credibility by trying to force a comparison to Furguson.

    His point totally went over your head. He's referring to the fallout of Ferguson and the community reaction. Regardless of what did or didn't happen between Mike Brown and the officer.

    It didn't go over my head, it was stupid. If this was a case like the Furguson case where a cop shot someone who was charging him then the union would back him. A community in Missouri going full r****d has no bearing on it whatsoever.

    Tired of the race baiting. There are ahole cops and criminals out there of all colors. Both groups should be dealt with.

    I'm not trying to sound like Black folks are the only ones killed by police... And any cop probably wouldn't want to work in a high drug traffic and or high crime rate neighborhood of any color because they all could be potentially dangerous situations. But are black people the ones that kill the most cops in this country...? I don't know. I'm asking you since you work with them.

    As police traffic stops mostly involve ticketing people to keep up local revenues I don't see how this is relevant. Toll booth operators don't have shotguns.

And interesting how you bring up Ferguson when there was no video and you ignore the fact that those cops were robbing a bunch of poor people. Using their authority to illegally make money.
